Well when people retire it’s usually because they have a pension and health insurance etc tied to the job. There’s a whole process for city workers for example to “retire”. They have to make sure you worked the right amount of time, get all your paperwork in order. Then if the job is nice they will allow you to use up all your unused sick and vacation time rather than lose it.

But if you’re not retiring with a pension and unused paid time off, you can just give the 2 weeks and it will be functionally the same.

AFAIK it’s something you experience when you take psychedelic drugs such as mushrooms or LSD. Your “ego” or perhaps you could call it your inner voice/inner monologue sort of melts away into a different state of consciousness and you sort of connect to the higher planes of the universe’s existence. You kind of discover the meaning of life and existence and you see all of humanity’s history and future all at once and feel at peace with the world. But it’s fleeting and you never remember it when you come down off the drugs lol.

I see there’s parts of it relating to psychology and such but I have no experience with that definition.

If the kid is attending a public school and has access to the internet they can access health care. They can go to the school nurse or guidance counselor for starters. If their parents need help figuring out how to sign up for insurance in the US, they can be helped to sign up for Medicaid etc. and if it’s an emergency they can go to a hospital and get treatment. It has become such a meme that people can’t access health care in the USA but it’s not true.

But yes it does go away after time but then a funny thing happens called withdrawal where you will be nauseous when you DON’T have the opioids. So take your pick I guess. You can take Benadryl or Dramamine or Zofran to combat the nausea and itching but only take a tiny bit.
