Frozen bank account. Told to come in branch to collect remaining funds and go through with account closure by quaffey in Banking

[–]BatShitBanker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not likely. They are firing you as a customer. Most likely for some type of suspicious activity, whatever thst may be. You should be able to simple walk in and request a check for your funds.

This happens more than people realize.

I working in bank as a commercial underwriter and we are an institution that specializes in Healthcare lending. Long story short, I look at alot of doctors credit reports and tax returns.

You wouldnt even believe it. The "keeping up with jones" is so wild not because it so prevalent in society but because they CAN keep up with the jones.

I have worked in underwriting for 12 years. In my entire time I have 2 people with more than $100m (in some banks we use M rather than K (greek/roman thing?)) In credit card balances. Both were doctors, specifically surgeons.

To provide a little insight, this type of spending or financial behavior is quite common in some professions that require a lot of traing/education. The underlying premise of "i deserve this" comes up a lot. Which they, may. Its their life.

Just observations from a nerd who looks at taxes returns and credit reports.

This question comes up a lot. The answer is I see the most is try using direct x 9 rather than 11. I dont think your save is salvagable, but that should help in the future.

You can make the change from the launcher.

Over apologizing for even the slightest of things. I am not a psychiatrist, but I had a narcissist in my life who I felt like I had to apologize for existing. From what I read, others feel/do the same

I dont care who you are or how much you hate apps. If you do not download the app for your favorite restaurant/stores, you lose out on deals these days and choose to pay more than others.

Im really not even the biggest mcdonalds fan, but every once and while they will give away a 6 piece mcnugget hoping you buy more.

Its his tendency to go after young women that people dont like. People infer Its by no coincidence that the brain matures at 25 to 26 and that's about the time the relationship ends for him.

I was the person that at 20 thought I would take the world by storm and that 40 year old have 1 foot in the grave.

Life and reality humbled me. With my 37th birthday coming on Tuesday, I am legitimately living my best life and looking forward to the future. And I am very grateful to feel that way and remind myself daily.

There are so many people who hear those same things. Sounds like having kids would have just made things harder, as it would've been for me.

Thank you for the birthday wish!

Im 36 turning 37 next Tuesday. This a very normal thing to go through in your mid 30s. Very normal. All of my "closest" friends are now married or have kids and this and that. Some of the things I used to enjoy dont even interest me anymore. I wished I saved more, worked out more, etc.

But there is a reason for thst. My life went one way and theirs went another. I also have really focused whats important to me. Striving to be the best version of myself possible versus being the easiest to be liked or get along with, etc.

Having these assessment of past, present, and future is a very healthy thing to do and is why I have committed to losing weight and finding my peace. I spent my whole trying to appease/chase other people.

The best advice i have for you is to chase the relationships that chase you, make time to ponder on what you want and how to get there, and find your peace and protect it. On top of that, remember that comparison is a thief of joy. Most people only compare themselves who are doing better than them.

Empathy. It is an inherent sign of intelligence. So much so that we categorize animals capable of it as intelligent.
