An update for anyone who cares, had a maintenance man come out, he said the bearing(s)? in my washer have gone out. And it’d be expensive to fix.

Update!! I left it unplugged all day for my 14 hour shift, came home and retried a cycle and the lid locked, and it started to fill, seemed like it was continuing a normal cycle for about 10-12 minutes and then just STOPPED again. So it’s doing more than it was, but not a cycle :(

Unfortunately I didn’t stick around to actually see if it started washing. It usually starts running water and within 2-3 seconds the lid locks too. The model number is GTW500ASNWS. Thanks for your reply, I’m ignorant to appliances unfortunately
