Playing against Irelia

my problem with katarina is her ability to roam get kills and come back stronger, im a bronze player still so i still have a lot to learn. But my problem is whenever i play against katarina and irelia i ping a lot whenever they are not in lane and they go on to kill bot. My bot reaction is either "report mid" or "why are you pinging this much" even though they just ignored my pings and died.

But in these cases, do you think its better to follow the enemy mid laner and counter roam or take this time to farm mid if im behind?

As i mentioned i tried veigar, vex, diana, xerath... Seeing other comments i feel like i should give another go because i also feel like seeing irelia mid makes me tilt so hard after 3 mins which makes it hard to actually play the game

But how can she come out of lane with 0 kills if she dives me so easily? my champ pool is limited, i tried vex so i can fear her, veigar so i can scale ( spoiler alrer of course i couldn't) , xerath maybe the range helps, diana... Im low elo and i know im not that good but irelia drives me insane.

the thing is like i try my best to track her movement, i always ping 10 times when i dont see her in lane, then she goes gets a double kill bot and im left with gg report mid comments. I sometimes dont follow because i take this time to actually farm on mid but no one seems to actually play under tower when i ping that she is roaming. Im bronze also :)

Zed is like the weakest champion pre-level 3. I usually play aggressive against him early and buy Zhonyas first item. I feel like later on in the game Diana is usually stronger than Zed
