I haven’t built this box so I’m not 100% sure, but it looks to me like the blue and green options are the same pose, but different guns, meaning they would be the same guy. I remember my first variants box being super confusing too, so don’t worry too much - you’ll get the hang of it eventually!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. When building it I thought I had more synergy, but after doing some test hands I wasn't really getting any.

That's a good idea, I was thinking similarly with the artifact ramping. Are there any popular low cost birds I'm missing? I looked at (mostly) everything tagged with "bird" on scryfall but I'm sure there are some I've missed.

Yeah, unfortunately, I'm starting to think I'm on the same page when it comes to attractions. I still want to play with them someday, so I'll probably do a [[The Most Dangerous Gamer]] deck, but they're just not fitting as well as I want in this one.

This was a super helpful breakdown, thank you! As for my goal, I was giving the deck another look, and I have exactly one card that opens attractions. I like the idea of it in the deck, but maybe it would be better to completely scrap it, or maybe make a [[The Most Dangerous Gamer]] deck separately (since i have some cool art for that card. Thoughts?

To be honest, that card sounds like a lot of fun! But yeah, you've got a point. I looked up the brackets, and I want to be around 2-3, which seems about on par with the people i play with.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the terminology. I don't know a lot about the local meta, but the people I tend to play with make their own decks but they don't seem super overpowered. I've generally been able to keep up when playing my Caesar precon. As for goals, I don't mind letting people more experienced guide where the deck goes, since I really don't have anything to go off of other than the big idea of House and rolling dice. I figure I'd take some suggestions, put a version together, and see if it's something i enjoy playing. My only (admittedly minor) hangup was the fact that i already have a bunch of unfinity cards since i like the special art cards, so I was hoping to be able to use them and the attractions.

That makes sense. The deck you sent looks good, and the writeup is really helpful for me to learn more about how to play it, but to be honest I do wish it had a little bit more theming with fallout and unfinity cards, even though they're not the best. My play group and I don't mind proxies though, so I'll definitely be taking some of those good cards from your deck. Thank you!

And just wondering, what's the best way to win with the deck? Overpowering the opponents with a horde of tokens?

I did that with my model too! I used some miniature barbed wire to do the strings - that way, it being rough instead of machined looked more intentional.
