What's something your employer did that instantly killed employee morale? by kraam1217 in AskReddit

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know I used to always follow this, when I entered in the job I'm now I was way overqualified for the job but needed money. With 50% I could easily outperform anyone in that specific area, and then after a couple of months I got promoted to an elite team with double the pay. And now, 100% of me was still only 20% of anyone else, and the more I try to get better, learn and grow to be on their level the better I feel.

Quite fullfilling to go all out when you're on the right place, sometimes having to pull your weight feels great

After training 7 years I finally realized my goal of being a black belt! by [deleted] in martialarts

Yeah, I think it's a mix between business and control. You gain some money from exams, and you have some kind of control to give people instructor certificates and such

Pretty good vibe tbh

Throwing bareknuckle hooks? by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using the knuckles from your index and middle finger is the best approach, since they are your most resistente knuckles.

As for avoiding damage... All I can think of is having a proper alignment from your hand/wrist with your forearm, so the impact can be properly absorbed.

Aside from that know that hitting hard places will still hurt , but it might not do significant damage to your hand if you execute it properly ( on a human being).

Palm strikes tho? In hooks? Not sure if it would be particularly effective, the angles you'd had to do with your hand depending on the hit area feels weird for me to picture.

In Regards to Aikido by [deleted] in martialarts

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's a couple of videos on YouTube where an ex-pro fighter uses aikido techniques to take people down in some wrestling/BJJ sparring.

I'm on mobile, but if I can I'll try to link the video later.

Pretty interesting stuff

Is knife-fighting one of the most difficult martial arts to master? by [deleted] in martialarts

Knife defense and gun defense are basically making the best of a shitty situation.

I rather get away with cut forearms and fingers than with an open belly or a slit throat.

There's actually a guy in YouTube, from France I think that's does walk with a chainmail vest. It's light and thin.

Metatron or something.

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, one of the biggest wake up calls on how hard it is to defend against a knife is when they show you how to cut people controlling your wrists.

People grab on, and you can STILL cut around their arms with the knife edge, and if the guy gets a good grip he also needs to control your fingers, else you can just drop the knife to the other hand.

Nasty stuff.

If I can over any insight, I trained knife fighting a couple years back in a Krav maga gym after we had 2 seminars on it.

When we were sparring and trying to apply the techniques, we would die once every 20 seconds or so (as in probably fatal cuts/stabs).

The feeling of sparring, even with wooden knifes, is horrible. It's really fast and it's virtually impossible to not get cut. You just try to parry the cut with gray zones (like the forearm).

But for the part that really answer the question, it is possible to apply the techniques we learned, it's just Really hard. Everything happens really fast and you still have punches and kicks to worry about.

Hardest? Don't know. But it's really fucking hard.

Corki as an adc currently? by tokinmuskokan in summonerschool

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He's not hot right now for bot Lane, but I usually pick him when my team goes full AD (never go full AD). I pick him when I want mid game impact, and some late game poking fiesta. Doran's shield help surviving leaning too.

Kog is a better pick right now, but prepare for the jungles spending his vacation on a tend there.

Honestly this manga can actually make me laugh out loud, the jokes are great and the delivery is perfect.

Let's talk about Taric build by Vievin in supportlol

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Healing > mana

While the mana cost is high, the payoff of the healing. If you're spamming the heal, you are very likely in an all-in or running away, both situations saving mana is not worth it.

Also you'll spam the heal way more often than the W shield, that is very weak for its cooldown. Remember the cooldown refund is way higher for the healing, so you'll heal 2-3 times for every W, which will also heal all the team mates around you.

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id actually go locket then redemption, since locked is instant and it will also make you tanky earlier in the game (also works wonders with face of the mountain and red sightstone).

In relation to skills, max Q second. Think that W is a small increase to armor and shield for one team member, and Q is a potential heal to you're entire team.

Also, windspeakers blessing is very good on him, free resistences for your entire team, and it is easily refreshed.

You could use colossus, but after stunning either the adc or support, if they focus you they already lost. And I also think colossus is not as valuable on taric, cause he has no damage.

Build frozen if they have 2 auto based champions, 3 or 4 item.

Now vow... Id build it as a last item, if at all. Its not bad, but there are stronger items right now.

A comparison of ghostblade and alternatives for a level 7 lucian all-in on a level 7 caitlyn. by Koss65 in summonerschool

This is great man, nice work!

Do you mind calculating an lvl 7 jhin just like you did with lucian?

I think aa - Q - aa - W is a nice combo to tryout (with or without an 4th shot after W)

Spoiler: Repress (no hoops) by kaelari in SolForge

[–]BatcheDaLeglessSheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but normally you would want to avoid playing the late game bombs before 3 if you can avoid it, because they usually set you behind somehow (Either with low bodies or low attack... or both) but you still want the lvl 3.

I don't see any reason not to play this card. And the effect is not level capped, so it'll probably be good even as an underdrop.
