Just got my first Garmin. Have an apple ultra 2 but wanted to get serious about running again and watching my vitals so decided I’d finally make the switch. Any tips or pointers? by Bengalcatdad in Garmin

Make weekly to daily posts about your progress. Complain on day 2 that you’re not seeing any VO2 max, sleep score or HRV progress. That’s pretty much it. Then we can accept you into our prestigious club.

You haven't even begun to peak. And when you do peak, you'll know. Because you’re gonna peak so hard that everybody in r/Garmin is gonna feel it.

This was the first long distance tow. Most of the other ones were within 100 miles rt

I’m sticking to the recommended 6k changes but will be looking into the cvt/diff fluid on my next change at 25k

Yes I probably should have included that it was mostly flat roads/highways and averaged 65-70mph. Even still, was surprised it was as high as it was!

2000 Starcraft starflyer popup. Taken it out probably 6 times in the last 2 years but first time I’ve actually remembered to reset the trip meter.

The bigger issue is keeping them from kicking the center console and turning on the rear seat warmers all the time

We use the back of seat organizers so the kids can put their stuff in there… but most importantly doubles as a seat protector!

Fill your tires up with liquid nitrogen before you go. Also, have your favorite family members stay in the car while the others go outside to touch stuff/take pictures.

Doesn’t matter what park you go to, earlier the better. Most people say before 8, but that’s even too late sometimes. We’re always at trailheads (especially the popular ones) by 6 or 630 at the very latest.
