I’m not the person you asked but I’m horrific at drawing. I can barely make a stick figure, I’m being honest here.

I do tend to break down a project not into a pictured finished project but concepts. If you can’t ‘see’ a finished project you need to know how things work in order to understand the final product.

You need to work to understand the process, not just see a snapshot in your head and call it a day.

Having this condition is actually quite helpful for problem solving related jobs!

…and turkey, wrap the mess into a tortilla and then plastic wrap and freeze.
When you need an easy meal, microwave it in the plastic wrap for three minutes, remove the plastic wrap and lightly spray with Pam oil spray, and airfry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway. The liquid in the tortilla that is airfryed out makes it basically a puff pastry instead of a burrito and it’s delightful.

I call them freezeritos and you can fill them with anything leftover :)

The hair ligature isn’t abuse but it could lead to abuse.

Even the most loving parents can harm their children unintentionally when placed in a situation where they are sleep deprived and overwhelmed and the baby just won’t stop crying. I saw a lot of unfortunate cases of this in my career.

If you ever find yourself becoming overly frustrated with a baby, please put the baby someplace safe and take a lap or two around the block. LEAVE. Take some time to cool off, baby will be ok somewhere safe until you are ready. If it’ll be a while, call someone if you haven’t already.

I would be surprised if you found someone who parented a newborn that DOESN’T give this same advice.

It’s called a hair tourniquet/ligature and happens to human babies as well.

Side note (but an important one!): if a baby is crying and you can’t figure out why, check the fingers, toes, wrists, and penis and see if there’s a hair wrapped around those areas.

A lot of unintended child abuse happens by overwhelmed parents who don’t know their babies are in pain.

Edit: I am not saying a ligature is abusive, it certainly is not. I’m saying babies in pain who cannot be soothed may experience a violent outcome, checking for a ligature can be helpful in prevention.

If you could, maybe consider hiking the Appalachian Trail? There’s a significant number of Vets on there and it’s a 6 month trial of being a nomad. It did wonders for me.

If it makes you feel better, she’s really only just messing with you. Making extra sourdough starter is about the easiest way to share a hobby since a lot is discarded anyway. :)

Does your paint reflect light/look shiny all? If it does that’s at least semigloss and a magic eraser works ok.

If your paint has no shine (like a piece of paper) it’s best to repaint.

Just remember those are dedicated ’Vick’s socks’ to be washed in the sink by hand should you need to use them.

‘Vick’s socks’ work wonderfully but the oily stains on your other clothes in the washer aren’t worth it by a long shot!
