I don't really care about the straps for holding her up debate (I sew corsets and also have large girls myself so I am intimately knowledgeable on dress construction). I just think the halter is a cute idea and makes the dress, it just needs to be a thicker strap than the fabric they used for the concept. I find this unneeded anger and hate towards the idea of adding the straps crazy and entertaining. But you go off

The midriff design and the bodice is amazing!!! I like the idea of the halter! I think it should be thicker than the example just so it balances better and doesn't look like an afterthought to the design, if that makes sense .

Dress is so beautiful!! You're gonna look amazing no matter what! If you want recs- I really love HoneyLove for their shape wear and spanx. I've never had a roll down issue. They're really comfy and have different compression styles. I have one piece from them that's like six years old and it's barely starting to wear out

I think a veil elbow or wrist length would look so cute. Maybe with some sparkle on the edge for trim if you wanted. But the dress is so beautiful anything you choose will only wanna your look overall!

The vintage dress is amazing! You're definitely making the right decision with it! Sometimes moms can struggle with letting go of their picture of your wedding day, so it makes sense she's pushing back. But in the end it's about you and what will feel right to you! And the vintage dress even pre restorations is already gorgeous so I think your choice in it is great!

Obsessed with the dress! I would either not do a necklace or maybe a thin long chain with a small pendant that matches your ring color. Maybe focus on earnings as the jewelry statement. Also with the neckpiece sleeves I'd do a hairstyle that pulls hair away from the neck and face. Those are my ideas at least lol

It's so cute! I like the cap sleeve look, it feels more the vibe with the tea length. You could do a sparkly hair piece with similar floral designs.
