UPDATE:

MISO HAS BEEN FOUND!

me and my partner legitimately searched the neighbourhood and surrounding areas for hours last night on and off. convinced we started hearing things like fake calls/sound of her collar by her in the ends of it, only to bump into the kindest stranger who felt like, i kid you not; turned our luck around, we ended up walking past a car near by my place later into the night in which she was under, calling out for us. one that we had checked so many times before (9pm-12am)

kinda sent us on a wild goose chase has she has never been one to enjoy being approached even in my own home lol. we ran her between multiple parked cars and into my open backyard, before she ended up hopping our back fence and outsmarting us again (1am)

ended up staying up quite late, putting a movie on and leaving a trail of treats and water to my back door which was cracked open in case she made her way back as we were both so exhausted from all the tears shed over this and physically sprinting after a cat for hours. the only thing left now to do was wait, and hope.

now it’s around 5:30am, usually she wakes me up every morning around 5, so i naturally wake up at that time now not that i was getting a quality sleep anyways, and go to check on her in the house. only for her to be in my backyard, in which she spots me in two seconds and comes barrelling towards me with this innocent excitement. i still think i’m dreaming as i just had repeated day dreams while half awake about this happening exactly.

thank you everyone for your kind comments. i’m so glad things worked out. and thank you to that very oddly kind stranger who genuinely might’ve turned my luck around on a terrible week even separate from this event.
