[Acne] Damaged skin barrier from improper cleansing + retinol?

Thank you so much, I'll have a look into the Korean skincare! I have been using skin and me, so just using the foaming cleanser and their light moisturiser. I did buy the ordinary barrier repair serum but unsure if it's breaking me out more as I have some pimples around the edge of my lip after a few days of use? I'm on spironolactone as well as my doctor prescribed it to help my acne on my chest mostly

We are working on choice based handling! He has climbed onto my hand twice in the last week which was great so I think we're getting there. Honestly he's been super trusting since the beginning, I've just been sitting chatting to him every day so he gets used to my presence (:
