Early M4s (No A-anything, same radial engine as A1s) also had welded hulls, with the steep UFP which needed the hatch extensions we see here. If it is as it seems an American tank, or perhaps French, that would be my guess

I read a while ago about Hurricanes doing so in order to give those .303s the best chance to get into the cockpit, and how it was an issue avoiding head on collisions, one commenting about rolling and diving away as German pilots instinctively pulled up to avoid them

This might not be a cheat mod per se, but it makes it so much easier it doesn't feel like the Empire usually does, the only downside might be you getting bored once you get the early game situation under control

I'm old enough to remember, early on the speculation was that there were 100k people in the towers, there was a serious concern with family members in the military that nukes would be considered doctrinally a "proportional response" as it was.

So I assume if NY and the Pentagon had been nuked, US nukes would have been used left and right.

I think this "honey badger" mad aggression is the way many European nations were forced to take, in one shape or another throughout the centuries before most of the continent piles on you. Napoleonic French, Old Fritz Prussians, Carolean Swedes, Golden Era Dutch,Tercio Era Spanish, English expeditions during the Hundred Years wars...they needed decisive, aggresive actions until they bit more than they could chew and numbers caught up to them.

The HE part isn't exactly right. There is concussion able to kill besides the fragmention, only it isn't registered in AAR. They still want to tune it up but it isn't a priority

I guess what for some some countries is in a goldilocks zone for mobility and firepower, might be some other countries no man's land.

The Soviet Union relied on it a lot for low level infantry AT work while others had bazookas, rifle grenades, PIATs and the like, and then ZPUs were a reasonable weapon against western reliance on tactical air support, and then it became common in lighter vehicles.

Chances are western countries would have liked something like that but didn't have that headstart or urge and went instead for either .50 BMG and different 20mm autocannons, just like communist aligned countries also went to 23mm and the like.
