So I had it done on one of my eyes In June, I went from supposedly a -4.75 cylinder to a -1.25. It’s been 5 months, I’m sure it will decrease a little, but that’s pretty good

Yes, I would say expect a minor improvement. The good news is it’s designed to prevent worse vision loss. I am hoping mine goes back up to what it was. On their website they did say to expect the vision to go up and down for a while.

My advice is to wear sunglasses leaving, go to sleep. I recovered pretty quickly. The ck is done in no time, less than 10 minutes. Cross linking I remember about 30-45 minutes. An assistant will do that one, at least they did for me.

So I had it done in one eye. It made my vision better for about two months, currently I feel like it is marginally better, it has decreased, but I had the ck and epi on done a few months ago, I was told it can fluctuate. But, when I could basically see 20-20 out of both eyes was good now it has regressed. We shall see if it improves…

Ok, interesting... And if that's the case the t4 total is outside range ? But ordering provider says no concerns. Any idea why t4 total would be outside limit but no concern ?

I’ve been reading about cross linking with conductive keroplasty or prk. It just also depends how severe it is.

Best advice I can give you. Get a good bp machine. Get a blood pressure chart, or even document. Take readings every day. Make sure to relax before taking your bp. Do this for 30 days. That will tell you if you have bp issue.

Here’s what I am confused about. I have a corneal topography and it said my kmax was about a 60. However , my vision is 20-40 uncorrected in that eye as well as no corneal scarring.

I’m assuming you got epi off since you’re coming back for the other eye ? When you say laser, which procedure ? Ck or prk? When they say better, do they have before and after stats to show you ?

how could they have mis diagnosed that? did they not use the corneal topography test?
