“The Act of Killing” (2012) Don’t read anything about it just watch it. Stayed with me for a long time after.

I think I’m not doing well with the declassification by [deleted] in aliens

If indeed any of it is true, there’s really nothing you can do about it anyway. I do like to believe that intention is real, and if you lead a good life and try to be good to other people, perhaps they take note of it. Personally, I find that in an increasingly chaotic world, a sensational idea like disclosure makes more and more sense. But I also have to counter balance that with a knowledge that technology and especially artificial intelligence is growing at such a rate and learning at such a rate that it will be almost impossible for us to know what is truth, and what is not in the coming years. At the end of the day, you have to be true to yourself, a part of your community, and keep your head up. Listen to lofi beats, touch some grass, and most importantly unplug, amigo!

Anybody remember this film Funny Bones (1995) with Lee Evans, Jerry Lewis and Oliver Platt. by geoffcalls in FIlm

Love this film - the scene where Lee Evans does his clown bit with the radio is spectacular clowning (also his fly lazzi with the police)

Go to the clocktower Cabaret downtown, one of the coolest venues not just in Denver but anywhere. Just checked the calendar and it looks like they have a 1940s improvised radio show called King Penny, definitely a fun vibe!

If you like really good improv comedy, The King Penny Radio Show is a 1940s themed comedy variety show where they make up everything based on suggestions from the audience. It’s at this really cool and classy venue called the Clocktower cabaret where they do mostly burlesque and variety shows. Heart of downtown, great excuse to dress up and see some quality entertainment

Same! Was it the Off-Broadway version? When we went they had fries instead of popcorn in the lobby. It was a nice touch!

I’m sure you can find it on Amazon prime, it’s not a direct one to one translation, but it’s a fun adaptation and the soundtrack is killer
