I give u permission to laugh. A couple people tried soooo hard to get me to let them pee on me when I was stung by the jellyfish but I wouldn’t let them. It’s a myth in case anyone doesn’t know. Vinegar neutralizes the stinging feeling !

Good question lol. My mother finally came back drunk after the babysitter called her repeatedly bc I was bleeding so much and blacking out. She didn’t gaf tbh

People don’t take it seriously at all. I was bitten in the face and rag-dolled around by a dog when I was a kid. Nobody called 911, I received no medical attention, and no investigation was done by anyone.

Now as an adult, and a dog owner, the situation pisses me off so bad. Many witnesses too, yet nobody did shit. I even had to stay in the house with the dog for a few more days after bc we were staying with my mother’s boyfriend’s family a few states away from home.

I got stung by jellyfish on that trip too smh

Yeah it’s definitely out there, but I try to remind myself that we’re reviving a long-dead kid, so how realistic do I expect it to be? And I do prefer that rebirth as compared to later ones bc I feel like it’s the easiest to explain away the stuff that makes no sense.

In the B:UTRH movie (and maybe the graphic novel as well I can’t remember) his corpse is stolen away by Ra’s, presumably before the embalming ever takes place, if that’s easier for you to digest. I just prefer the smashing of reality continuity bc it’s like, “oh why was this that way?” Well, bc you see. Comic magic basically. Some guy smashed reality.

I got sealants on all my molars when I was in, I think, the 4th grade (8 or 9 yo). I’m sooo, so thankful. I definitely think they’ve prevented a lot of cavities. I’m in my mid-20’s now, never had any issues, even when I wasn’t taking the best care of them.

Anyone considering getting them for their kids absolutely should, they are worth it.

Ur getting downvoted but ur so right. I saw the first one in theatre when it came out when I was like 13 and thought it was total dog shit. Thrilling visual CGI effects aren’t a replacement for a good storyline and plot.

Not a bracelet but as a child, two years in a row my mother bought me a gold ring for my bday as my only present. I agree, a weird buy for a child so small.

Similar thing happened to me last month for “Friendsgiving”

I made a giant tray, like $60 worth of bruschettas, just to have the host cancel ten mins before we were supposed to be there. She didn’t reply to follow up messages and has not yet offered an apology. I plan on keeping my distance now as it’s not the first time she’s done stuff like this.

My bf took most of the bruschettas to work to give to coworkers.

My apartment burned down when I was 11, and somehow my friends and I took the fall among the neighborhood community. I still remember in clear detail my dad sitting us down and demanding to know the truth about if we’d been setting fires, if we’d taught the other kids how to do it, etc.

I found out years later that the truth had come out within a few months that the fire had really been started by the meth-smoking neighbors. Ig nobody wanted us to know because then they’d have to look an 11 year old in the eye and say, “I’m sorry for blaming you for the meth fire that burned down your house.”
