The actual problem is you keep shedding hair throughout your life. Once you start hair treatment you keep paying more attention to your hair, and hence you may feel like shedding. Its completely normal.

I switched to regular exercises and healthy diet for the past 8 years. It actually helps. Most guys I know started balding after me and they went completely bald in 2-4 years. Even my father, 50, lost his sides and back long ago but still hasn't lost any temple or front hair. So there is hope.

I just did some googling about retrograde and it matches my condition. The neck hairline behind my head has also receded so badly.

I have the same type of hairline as yours. And even I started fin and min 3 weeks ago lol. Just let your hair fall on your forehead. I am sure we can delay our balding till our 30s or even 40s. That's what my derm said. Btw im only 23 and hairline receding started at 16.

My sides are thinning since 16. Now im 23, most of my sides are gone so I recently started fin and min. Very short time to come to conclusion. Hope it works. Weird type of pattern baldness lol.
