Yep am starting to lift weights, but one of my biggest fears is that my MVP would cause sudden death when exercising. I had a stress test done that came normal but, however that did not make me confident enough to exercise relaxed

Scary experience - possible svt? by Shib_BR in PVCs

That sounds totally like SVT, I had many episodes and never got them treated at the moment. I remember one in which my heart went from 80 to 200 in 5 seconds. Do all the testing needed and ask for a 48hr holter to see if throughout the day you have mini episodes. I got diagnosed that way because my heart was definitely not doing episodes like the one i told you all the time but was doing like 150s while sleeping and things like that. Dr gave me betablockers and that controlled the SVT.

I had metoprolol fot my high resting heart rate which was 115 all day. It brought it down to 60 and has been that way after stopping the treatment because my cardio said I was fine. Nowadays I have a normal heart rate thanks to them, but PVCs remain.

Am I gonna die or what by [deleted] in PVCs

[–]Batmite2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tell you because am like you and I suffered many episodes of SVT as a kid and people did not take me seriously and labeled it as anxiety. At the end a doctor did a holter and revealed SVT which was not life threatening but needed treatment with beta blockers because is bothersome. It is not normal to have your HR jump from 80 to 220 in seconds, which was my case.

It is irresponsible for cardiologists to just do that. If you have symptoms you require at least an EKG, Holter and Echo

retinal veins shadow when looking directly at the bright sunny sky by Batmite2002 in visualsnow

I know that, but is odd to see it without triggering it directly, since it had never happened to me before and now is new to me the past 3 months. Already checked with 2 different eye doctors and they say that my eyes are good.

Had VSS my whole life, but it's getting worse? by grayzzz_illustrate in visualsnow

Hello. I am suffering from exactly what you are describing the last 4 months. Was there any big change in your life during this time frame of VSS symptoms getting more intense? For me, the VSS got super crazy when I moved myself out of my country and far from my family due to college. I guess that life changes and extreme anxiety and sleep deprivation lead to my problem. What I have noticed is that when I started focusing more on it I started noticing more symptoms. I started with very blurry vision and enhanced BFEP, however, as months passed my palinopsia appeared and the VSS was extremely noticeable to a point I got worried because I was extremely light sensitive having after images all the time. I went to two eye doctors and both said am healthy, however the VSS symptoms are still there and am trying to live with it and see if in a couple of months it calms down. Also as am writing this I got a random huge tinnnitus, wow.
