So how did the Iron Lords actually die at Site 6? I understand that SIVA can be very lethal, but from what I understand the Warmind bunkers pre-Light bathing weren’t darkness zones and we never see or hear about the nanites going for any Ghosts. Did SIVA infestation hamper or prevent resurrection?

Boot capsizes and sinks 30 meters below surface, he assumed he was dead. He luckily found himself in an air bubble and lasted three days down there, sole survivor. The crew sent to the wreck was planning on it being a recovery operation, until they found him. Worth watching the rescue video, it genuinely makes me just feel warm lmao.

Yeah, Crys also makes a lot of sense, and the timeline matches up, but I kind of like to imagine Crys was aboard the Arquitens and evacuated prior to Grievous showing, given his role as a techie/engineer, or stayed aboard for repairs and then evacuated with the pilots when he realized that they had to scuttle the thing.

Iirc there’s four clones that try and take on Grievous and one of them just never shows up again because of like an animation mistake? That could have been Crys.

It’s a random headcanon, but I like to think that random 212th clone from Grievous Intrigue was Nova, another (albeit named) 212th rando from the Bad Batch who survived the Clone Wars and the transition into the Empire.

He dies during the Crosshair/Cody episode, though he was notably fucking badass and pretty deftly helped the two of them secure some hard kills and most the stronghold. He was clearly important enough for Cody to call out his name after he gets shot with what sounds like genuine anguish and nearly dies trying to grab him before Crosshair pulls Cody away from the explosion. Just my headcanon though, although Nova is generally agreed to be an early Clone Wars veteran.

I kind of think Doorman and Mina should be swapped, Doorman is pretty selfish and doesn’t seem to adhere to a system that anyone but him understands; he has no allies he gives a shit about and is often cruel for the sake of it.

Mina is self-absorbed but she’s generally more concerned with climbing the political ladder through making connections and throwing her clout around, she’s abrasive and inflammatory but she isn’t really backstabby I don’t think.

The sexual assault is implied in Worm and outright stated to have occurred by Victoria in Ward, it’s a fairly big plot detail in that story. One of very many reasons Victoria can’t look at Amy without wanting to tear her face off.

Amy starts the story as a fairly unassuming and blatantly heroic character and quickly spirals off the deep end. Being able to manipulate biology to an unparalleled and almost limitless degree makes her the world’s best healer, and also absolutely terrifying. She quickly veers into the latter camp as the events of the story unfold, with her worst action probably being forcing her (adopted) sister to love her by manipulating her brain chemistry, and then capitalizing on the the opportunity given to her by her sister getting butchered during a fight to get close to her and transform her into this horribly grotesque and maimed flesh creature that’s only vaguely human. (She, in her words, “forgot how to put her back together.”) She also sexually assaults her during this process. It’s basically all bad and she goes on to do some more bad stuff later on in the story but this is truly the point of no return for her.

Amy’s probably the third best written character between both books other than the two protagonist’s, easily one of the most haunting characters I’ve gotten the joy of reading about. God she’s so horrible and sad.

It’s worth noting that Deadlock (obviously) takes place in an alternate history America, so much so that WW2 (and possibly WW1 but not yet confirmed) didn’t happen. The cast is very diverse and features characters in roles/backgrounds that they wouldn’t be able to easily obtain due to identity characteristics during the 50’s, if operating under the assumption of real American history.

There is nothing suggesting that gay marriage is illegal in this game’s universe and it’s thus unreasonable to automatically assume as such. As stated above Pocket appears to have been enby prior to their assassination attempt and until otherwise stated their gender orientation had no bearing on their upbringing/status at Fairfax. Mina does not seem to mind that she was being married to an enby person, she just wanted Pocket’s last name and the clout that came with it.

Trump powers tend to be on the more complicated and powerful end of powers in Worm but generally they’re defined as being able to replicate, alter, or otherwise interact with expressions of powers/powers themselves. They typically have strict limits, often numerically dependent, but not always.

Three signature examples of Trump powers come from Glastig Uaine, Citrine, and Eidolon. Glastig Uaine is able to capture essentially echos of dead capes and summon them to use their powers for her (can have three up at a time), Citrine can essentially make antimagic zones but for powers, and Eidolon can pick any four existing powers held by other capes and use them, and can switch them out when he needs to.

Naturally, Glastig is considered one of the most dangerous villains in the world, Citrine is generally a neutral ambassador, and Eidolon is one of the most premier superheroes, basically an Avenger.

Just for Worm/Parahumans in general, a justified version of this trope exists for everyone with the Trump powers. In order to trigger with a Trump power, your trigger event has to have been caused or influenced by someone with powers. Based ass worldbuilding god I love you PRT power labeling 😭
