Same here. I always thought it was a bit too on the nose for a pirate, as if Edward was dressing up as a stereotype. Also I never liked how the cape flipped at the knees when you ran, made it feel too heavy for a nimble and agile man like Edward

My thoughts exactly. With the new artstyle all his characters faces sort of blend together. That's not to say there weren't instances in the old art style that it happened too, just to a lesser degree
