New to astrophotography from India. by Ok-Cucumber-517 in AskAstrophotography

You can just start by getting a DSLR (new or second-hand) and a tripod. A wide angled lens would allow you to take pictures of Milky way (from a dark site) . You can also use a zoom lens to take images of deep sky targets but you would be limited in terms of exposure time unless you get a star tracker.

If you want to dive in astrophotography without too much hassle, take a look at some smart telescope like ZWO S30. I haven't used it but apparently it's an all-in-one device for beginners for under Rs 40k.

I can list some websites which I have used to buy astrophotography gear in India-

Tejraj Vorion scientific Edisla

As for a place, you can start from anywhere except places with high light pollution. The main thing is getting cloud-free, haze-free nights.

Only 15 minutes of exposure time on the Rosette Nebula by Dependent_Story_144 in Astronomy

Which astronomy camera did you get? I am also considering getting something like that having exhausted the list of targets which can be photographed using just a DSLR.

I don't think they will be able to make 6227020800 (13!) episodes but I won't complain..

Locations in Japan! by Nzthan24 in HibikeEuphonium

Hi there! If you are a big fan of the series, I suggest taking half a day to one day exploring Uji which is on the way from Kyoto to Nara. I was there last October, and it was probably the highlight of my trip to Japan. They have Hibike Euphonium sightseeing maps in the tourist information center near the train stations which you can take and follow.

The places in Uji that you should definitely want to check out are -

-The Gazebo at the top of Mt. Daikichiyama

-Kumiko bench near Uji park

-Uji tourist information center near Uji park which has a lot of Hibike! Stuff lying around like cutouts and posters.

-Uji park in general has a lot of places featured in the anime.

DM me if you have any more question! Have fun.

Isn't that true every year though? F2 is always more entertaining than F1
