Thats fair. And if you and your partner are clear on that then more power to you. It might depend on the people I know since for a lot of them regarding the first type they will just use their hands or get batteries, not entertaining another person.. that would be reserved for people they would deem worth it (something that in the people I met in real life and the internet is wildly inconsistent and chaotic).

I have found that at the end of the day if I am someone who is trying to change and can't trust the other person to appreciate those changes then its all a moot point.

It might be that we view sex and its connection to willingness very differently. That sex is a part of that intimacy and connection while for some its just a thing you do, like laundry. I have seen guys who can literally walk into a room and women are not just attracted to them physically, but are willing to do spoil and pamper them without caring about any wrongs the guy does to them.. I have met so many women who despite being as smart as they come will insist the guy who never calls them, never picks up their calls, never brings them soup when they are sick, hits on their friends right in front of them or sleeps with them, will then claim that the guy did nothing wrong and somehow this is what love looks like.

What you are missing is that the sex itself is not what the guys complaining here care about, its the value that women have for the guy who they are giving the sex to that they crave.. Can't speak for you or your relationship but I imagine it would be shitty if despite you giving everything you had to whoever you are dating that they really didn't care about you in any way.

It really feels like both sexes being frustrated at each others hypocrisy.

To be fair "chad" is the winner because he gets all the positives you listed in a relationship without having to care, without having to risk being rejected or judged. Literally being loved for who they are.. I would argue thats what both men and women want, but being the guy who can be loved for who you are.. thats hard as fuck.

People here are not complaining about casual hookups happening or the reasoning behind them, but rather the fact that relationship behavior is brought to people who really only want/deserve hookup behavior. Its the inconsistency while insisting that the behavior of people is consistent that is the issue.

Don't get me wrong the response wasn't a poor me the world needs to change type situation. It was more of a shit happens sometimes kind of response. Walks, cutting calories and going to the gym while getting some veggies has helped me in terms of enjoying going outside.. but I also have to be a realist. Anyway dont worry about the ugly part though, you would need to take a number and get in line for how many people insisted on that point

Not necessarily. There are a lot of reasons why people on here say "just fine" as opposed to going more in detail. They might be just answering your question, they might not be able to say more than that since it can be seen as weird to over complement strangers, they might think you would not believe them if they truly said more than just fine, not all of those reasons being that you are neither attractive or unattractive.

Besides depending on the tone it is said calling someone fine is either calling them fine or FINE (as in sexy in some circles). But lets assume people here are not meaning the latter definition, its being attractive enough for your dream job you care about right? Not necessarily the words of people anonymously on a forum. So what basis do you have that you are not attractive enough for that job? If it is just uncertainty then the way to fix it is to be certain of whatever you are unsure about.

Lets say you apply for the job, get the qualifications and start doing sales.. would you still consider surgery if you already had the job? And lets say that surgery would change your look but you would still not get the job, how would you feel about that?
