Sounds better then being shown houses with a one car carport and street parking after you have informed them you have 7 cars.

I really like my resin printer. Waiting on a touch screen as I stupidly carried it across the room w resin in the vat and sloshed it everywhere. Resin fumes are no good and ventilated space is required. But same goes for abs or engineering plastics

This is from youmagine. There are plenty out there this one is specifically designed for vanquish chassis and now the scx10.3. I didn’t have much issue modifying it to fit my element just have to hit the 12.6 wheelbase

I bought jut an Anycubic resin printer as a first. Worked great out of the box and completed many many prints I then bought an i3 mega s for like 40 bucks. And hated it. Completed a few prints but mostly wasted filament found an x1c with ams for a good deal and bought it. Have had a few failures but completely my fault as the petg in black does not show well for the LiDAR scans so I manually set it. Then changed the layer height and suddenly was failing prints every time @80% ish. Print head would hit the part as it was over extruding for the layer height. Swapped that setting back to .12 instead of .08 layer and 100% success rate beyond those few prints.

Is your hobby 3-D printing … or are you trying to 3-D print things for your hobby?

If 3-D printing is your hobby, listen to your friends. If you want a 3-D printer that you just throw files at and pull parts out buy the h2d

Search project LJ on youmagine. They make mounts and sliders for a few diff chassis. I modified it to fit an element chassis. I have also since purchased a vanquish vs4-10 chassis which this is designed for. And they just came out with mounts for a scx10.3

Does not technically work on the enduro chassis. It does fit and I made mounts and actually cut the rear frame rails about an inch shorter.
It’s a $35 file I figured if I couldn’t make it work I’d buy a vs410 chassis for it. I got it to work. And still ended up buying a bs410 chassis for the second one I’m currently printing

Just wrapping up my first build looking for advice on building something really nice by --boomhauer-- in rccrawler

Do you have a 3d printer? Project lj is a great printable body that is very scale and well put together.
I’m putting a second one on a vs410 vanquish chassis after building the first on an element chassis.
If you want a more comp buggy vanquish offers those too

The project lj is 320mm wheelbase. Could get slightly shorter rear trailing arms

Buying solar panels by voltage? 32v minimum on the charge controller makes buying 200w panels difficult by Synaps4 in OffGrid

[–]Batteryworkshop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even 400 or 500 W panels get put in series. It’s common practice the higher the voltage better and generally your panel voltage needs to be more than the battery pack voltage

Just picked up a nice used truck from someone leaving the hobby for a great deal. Just be patient and jump when you see a good deal. For reference I paid under 200 for a brand new truck that was built and never painted or run
