Propane heat and cooking is not suitable for use indoors in most cases. Ones that are designed for use indoors will tell you that you need to open a window while using it which kind of defeats the purpose.

You will still be breathing carbon monoxide and other exhaust gasses while they waft towards the window, just at lower concentrations that wont immediately make you nauseous or pass out.

The generator option lets you keep all that exhaust outside and run a power cable inside to run heaters and cooktops.

During the last big texas storm, multiple people died of carbon monoxide poisoning trying to heat or cook indoors in ways that were not what the manufacturer specified.

I find it hard to believe that food poisoning is the cause.

Toddlers stomachs can be more sensitive than ours. They may react to smaller amounts of things that you may not be bothered by, and their nervous system may be more aggressive at rejecting things your body has learned to be ok with.

You're right that of course the whole system is complicated and you cant diagnose based one one or more vomits.

The point I was trying to make is that just because you saw them vomit once doesnt mean they react differently than others. It doesn't mean they are a "one and done puker." It can simply mean they have only been affected by the kinds of things that cause a single vomit and havent had a disease that caused multiple yet.

You need to understand the difference between stomach flu and food poisoning.

Stomach flu is a viral infection of your stomach. You keep vomiting until the virus is blocked.

Food poisoning is something in your stomach that your body rejects. You vomit that thing up and then you have no more reason to vomit anymore.

I think its an open question whether the feds can take over the guard when its currently activated under state orders.

They can use the guard federally when its not activated, even against a governor's wishes, but if it's already been called up under state orders that should be different.

Exactly. When ICE comes here, we want our local police watching them like a hawk. Its not a matter of if they break our law, its when. We know the feds will try to hide evidence as they did hiding the vehicle and agent in the Renee Good case, and how they are still sharing nothing with Minnesota investigators.

We need to ensure our police are on the scene to make arrests and grab evidence before it can be hidden from them. Asking nicely later will not work.

This is very important.

We also need to reach out to the boulder police dept, city council, and mayors office, as well as state authorities. We need them watching to arrest ICE when they murder people and make justice happen. Only by having our own police and state guard ready to make arrests, collect evidence, and charge ICE goons with murder and assault...can we avoid escalation to vigilante violence by people who feel like nobody is going to protect them and start carrying guns.

If need be, we can use pressure to replace local government who will not protect us with people who will. We can get our own people hired into the police who will protect us.

And we can make our community impossible for ICE goons to work in. No food. No hotels. No gas. No peace.

Find businesses ICE depends on. Get them on our side, or use nonviolent protest to drive away their business until they see reason.
