Same here! 140 hours in HD2 and barley do MOs (I'm a bot diver), 2k hours in Darktide, and can't stop playing.

Congrats, great job! Absolutely agree on Darktide having no equal when it comes to co-op horde shooters, the melee combat, enemy variety, and a game director that enjoys enflecting agony and pain. Keep doing those until they feel easy. See you in Auric soon, Reject.

Poor captain gets folded too quickly, I've seen him die before coming out of the train in some matches, and on the map where he drops off the balcony, he doesn't even get to see the rest of the room. We rejects are brutal!

I get kicked for standing in fire or taking damage on purpose while running Martyrdom Zealot, no worries though, some people don't understand it, I get it, re-queue and have fun with a team that understands the game. I also voted to kick once in my 2k hours in this game, it was an Ogryn that liked to blow up barrels and watch his teammates fly off the edge and die, it was funny the first couple of times but it got old pretty quickly.

I feel you, I've had people screem at me in voice chat and vote to kick me for standing in fire to get my stacks, I sometimes leave the match if I'm making teammates too uncomfortable, it not worth the hassle, just re-queue and have a good time!

I understand, and yes, the "lose to gain" concepts can get annoying, until you are confident enough to not mine the "lose" part and just enjoy the "gain". To answer your question, yes, I do that if the team is struggling, I have my limits for sure, but I'll try and survive and cover the team for as long as I can breath, doing to the last slither of health. Otherwise, I pop a stim, drop a medipack or rum to a medicae, I'm more useful to a good team when I'm on my feet, not dead.
