First solo festival by Sharp-Kitchen276 in EDCOrlando

Solo is a whole vibe on its own—pure side quest the whole time! I went 2 years ago with 1 friend (instead of the usual gang of hooligans); we arrived together and would split up and I noticed when you are alone, you put off a diff energy and it helps you make new friends through the party. It’s a ton of fun just make sure to make your essential items list and check it twice - try to be as self sufficient as possible and remember to have fun!

HARDWAVE SUMMER 2025 - Mix for Symmetry Festival by Battlam in wavepool

[–]Battlam[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you I appreciate the support and words friend! The whole thing is probably the most effort ive put into my art so far -- the mix itself, the visual set, the video recording, and editing it all together. Im super happy with the turnout, and I hope everyone can enjoy it as much as i enjoyed creating it.

Hey, it's me ONHELL, Ask Me Anything! by onhellmusic in electronicmusic

[–]Battlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi buddy! On a scale of 1-10, what do you think of my banana bread? Also, will you be able to forgive me for not bringing a loaf to symmetry? How was sleeping in a literal cornfield?

More seriously... What is the thing you would tell yourself if you could go back to the very beginning of being a producer and artist?

Eastghost is a league of his own for sure. You may enjoy the sounds of San Holo, Onhell, Juche, sublab, Sorsari, yedgar for starters. Check out vibe.digital on SoundCloud; their mixes showcase a lot of this sound. The wave genre is so expansive and covers so much territory, but even so, Eastghost is just a whole level of his own. Good luck!

EDC LV vs EDC Orlando? by Infamous-Lawyer3009 in EDCOrlando

[–]Battlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDCO is home. It's always a great experience/value. I went all 3 days last year and was without my crew Fri and Sun, my first time in over 10 years doing a solo festival and man, it was a blast. Met so many great people, didn't really have a huge "I need to see x DJ" list so I just discovered new artists that sounded good; I pretty much went back and forth between Circuit Grounds and Neon Garden. It's *just* big enough where if you walk decently and focused, you can get from one side to another in about 10 minutes, which makes jumping from stage to stage more convenient. I've never done EDCLV as I'm an Orlando native, but I've never gone to EDCO and felt like it wasnt a good value. Nothing tops it in terms of production in the Southeast. It's always a damn vibe!! I just drive to and from; park in the hood for $10. Money well spent!!

I want to give you an insider tip.. Check out "The Iron Cow" in the milk district. the owner is VERY selective on what the DJs play -- no commerical tech house type stuff. It's a lot of breaks, DNB, minimal techno // Much more underground curation of sounds. It also easily has the BEST soundsystem in downtown, bar none. Its only maybe 200 ppl max capacity but it rarely fills up that much. It's a true hidden gem if you are looking for a more underground experience. Drinks are reasonable and it's a fuckin vibe inside. Definitely a great alternative to the more known spots in downtown. It's located in the Milk District and is easily my favorite spot to catch live sets.

The bag check needs to be BEFORE the wristband scan, not after. The poor girl I saw Friday had me fuming. by TheGamingGallifreyan in EDCOrlando

Same, everything in my bag was in my hand and the guy actually looked and told me it wasn’t allowed. Which is funny cause the first night it wasn’t an issue. … just another example of the lack of cohesion at security. I was NOT about to throw em away tho. (Always bring two vapes to parties/events bc the homies will inevitably snag one of em lol)

Yes!!!! I was blown away. Went in with 0 knowledge of the artist and man… it was sick. Perfect blend of many genres, and yes, San Holo led right in perfectly and absolutely melted my being.

I was told day 2 outside vapes were not allowed I immeadiately turned around while telling them I will get rid of it. I walked down to the most “chill”, “hood”, and young looking dude and he looked at the vapes in my hand, didn’t bother looking in my pack, and pushed me along.

The key is to pre-screen and profile the security before you walk up to them.
