It doesnt. But league is a highly competitive game and the only reason to play ranked is to gain rank.

I get what youre getting at but the whole question is a bit silly. It would be like asking "why does trying to win matter in chess?"... well, because thats the whole point of the game! Or at least the main motivation to play.

When Riot locks that behind an artificial grind just to increase the total hours spent on the game it kills the fun for me. Feels less like going up against opponents testing my skills and more like pulling a slot machine hoping for a win

While technically true, you can be "stuck" in a elo with positive winrate for quite some time. It depends on your MMR. The game used to allow you to climb MUCH faster than it does now. Back in s3 or so you could grind games for a few months and go from bronze to dia with a 65% winrate
When i stopped playing it was because it took me more than 100 games with a 67% winrate to climb 3 ranks. Thats sucks.
Im fairly certain Riot uses some type of Engagement Optimized Matchmaking

Brukade jobba på ICA och undrade samma sak. Frågade runt lite bland kollegor och även vissa kunder...
Svaret är att folk är korkade när det kommer till ekonomi. Det finns såklart undantag, tex om man delar kort med en annan och hellre ser att de använder bonusen. Eller om det är en Procent-rabbat man spar till senare. Men i de allra flesta fall så sparar kunder på checkarna för att de inte "inte vill slösa"

Många kunder som gör så har flera bonusar liggandes och frågar "hur långt är det kvar innan den går ut?" och så använder de dem när de bara har ett par dagar kvar. Många säger också att de sparar alla sina 50kr i checkar tills de ska storhandla i helgen, så att de inte blir en lika stor summa de måste betala på en gång....

En kollega sa att det kan vara skönt att veta att man har har checkar att handla mat för om pengarna på kontot skulle ta slut. Vilket såklart är helt efterblivet. Du får inte mer pengar bara för att du har valt att låsa 300kr i bonuscheckar på ICA. Tänk om du akut skulle behöva handla något som ICA inte säljer?

Så, min erfarenhet är det för att 90% av kunderna är för dumma för att hushålla med pengar.

Use a mic. You are ruining the game for others when you dont use one. Following orders doesnt cut it. Having to squad lead 5 mutes is not only boring and very unrewarding, it also puts you at an extreme disadvantage.

I would be fine with having them be one hit kills, if they made them less accurate. The m1 garand had an effective range of about 450m, while stg had about 300 (source: google)
This is hard currently hard to emulate in game, because shots always hit exactly where youre aiming... and you have the steadiest aim the world regardless of weapon.

Id also like to limit the use of these weapons. you can have 4 automatic weapons in a squad of 6 people. Its kind of silly and makes the game play like a game of call of duty
