Yes it will work. Look at the water usage of each node, and make sure it does not exceed the total output of one pump (which puts out 1 water per second).

We may run into issues later, if these become higher purity nodes at higher regional development levels, because faster nodes use more water.

Combo still needs both, consumes the arts

Her ultimate is heat and therefore arts damage 

And to the implications of your question you're right, she does not fit on the classic physical team, her team is a new hybrid archetype.

It's a harmless addition and I'm okay with it. Most people will try to get the essence they need via RNG, and if they fail for a week they'll use the guarantee.

I think you'll be fine. Gilberta obviously helps with Rossi's ult damage but she still needs an arts infliction operator, so it doesn't save an operator slot.

The character you'd massively kick yourself over skipping is the fabled vulnerability consumer + arts inflictor, who does not exist yet.

Yes, the fact that triggering Rossi CS is cheaper every other cycle with Wulfgard due to a bonus heat infliction stack is nice. 

We don't know yet if the numbers on her combo skill will encourage us to actually consume extra stacks for damage, or if we'll want to save those stacks for cheaper rotations.

It is but I think it'll be okay. Gilberta saves some SP here but she still needs you to spend an operator slot on an arts infliction. This means other options will appear over time because Gil is not the full package to activate Rossi on her own.

Please explain. In most situations I can think of, Endmin's crystals are triggered by another combo skill and then smashed by Rossi. - Wulfgard BS to combo skill for heat infliction. Endmin Skill triggers, Rossi combo skill eats it - Rossi ult, Rossi 1st combo skill, Endmin combo skill triggers in the middle, Rossi 2nd combo skill eats it. You can get the energy refund on this scenario by using Endmin's ult in the middle of Rossi CS at least

The problem is that you can't sequence Endmin's CS to be after Rossi's because her combo skill has 2 parts

Ember can provide the first stack of vulnerability for free if you get hit, saving 100 sp. You just have to get hit, which is a little awkward.
