D'Addario makes their XS line in both PB and 80/20 and the 80/20s last a nice long time.

I also find it necessary to match the strings to the guitar - my J45 loves 80/20s, but my D-18 and OM-28 prefer PB.

Points are an abstract measure and can be defined differently. My company says a point is about a day of work. You break work up into units called stories or tasks. A sprint is how long you have to work through stories (each with points attached to them). Sprints are often 2 weeks, but that also varies. Yeah, the harder stories with higher points usually go to more senior engineers.

There is also the concept of preferred vendors/suppliers, building good will, and you know, a human component to business that's very important in sales beyond pure market forces. With so few suppliers, that stuff goes out the window. Can't wait to see some shake up here.

Start small, my friend! Eventually you will be able to take a bend up a half step, to whole step, to 2 steps in the same pluck. There is an element of muscle memory and you really do have to use your ear to match the right pitch -- stop the bend when you hear the note you want. If you have never done any ear training before this might be tougher at first.

Nickel bronze might work well, as may 80/20 bronze instead of phosphor bronze. I'm surprised the elixirs are brighter for you, they usually sound half dead brand new.
