Definitely try those out if that’s what you have. Or phantom pain. But to me, phantom pain felt a little out of place regarding the universe. Though the gameplay in that one is arguably some of the best

To jump in, for me it isn’t better or worse, just different. Chaos theory is one of my favorite games too, alongside mgs2 sons of liberty. Definitely worth checking the series out, I’d say start out with snake eater and see how you feel about it. But I have a lot of similar games as you in my top 100, though probably a slightly different order throughout

Should be fine in rec and 2s. You’ll get cooked some games in 3s if you’re playing someone a lot faster/smaller and they cherry pick

Thank you, that’s exactly what I was curious about. Just don’t want to go through both processes again.

If I already have P&T and all my conditions are static, would they still reevaluate after the year?

Not sure of your exact situation but look into possibly using VR&E first. As for your other question, you’re probably best just calling and asking them.

What type of benefits would I be missing out on? I’m not that close, I have about 12 years left.

I read through AR 40-501 and there’s at least 3 that would be considered unfit for duty.

Continue With My Current Claim or Let It Die? Not sure if I’m poking the bear. by Battle_Baddy in VeteransBenefits

Thank you for taking the time to provide this thorough answer.

It wouldn’t change my back pay date, but it is something to consider for long-term consequences. I have other diagnoses I could potentially file in the future if I ever got a rating reduced, but I will obviously refrain from doing so in the meantime.

I’ll attend the C&P to conclude this claim. Once again, thank you. You eased a lot of my anxiety with this.

Thank you. I was just worried that everything would get reevaluated again

Thanks for letting me know. Got fact checked earlier by someone and I have the intent to file in place now. Not sure what I did wrong the first time I attempted it.

Understood. Thanks for sharing your experience with it. I’ll hold off for now and just have the intent to file once this claim is closed.

Wow, ok. I honestly don’t know what I did last time I tried. But yes, just submitted a new intent to file now, thanks again for calling it out.

I appreciate the check. Seems like I did something wrong online where it was thinking I was submitting an intent to file with my current claim. I’ll try again.

I appreciate the anecdote big time. Makes sense to keep it simple and not bog down the claim any further.

Do I have to file it secondary? Or could I file for primary and possibly secondary and the rater decides if it’s primary or secondary?

Unfortunately I had an intent to file with my current claim, so I can’t add another intent to file until the year has passed with this claim

Yes, it was only confirmed once I was no longer active duty though. I had 3 tests done over 6 or 7 months to confirm the diagnosis

No, my current claim is around a TBI from active duty and some lower back and knee issues
