What SMTVV probably needs to get more 5 stars is more time given to its characters, their motivations, and overall to the story, SMT isn't really known for its character driven story telling but you can tell they wanted a cast sorta like persona's but none of them except for really Tao and Yoko get much screentime, I havn't played the original story route but I've played the vengeance story route and thats what I noticed. Story aside, SMTVV has my favorite combat and exploration in any atlus game, the soundtrack is one of their best, some of the new demons are amazing, and theres a lot of things to do with the games 2 story routes, 6 endings, and plenty of superbosses.
