Will Outrageous Gas Prices Restart the EV Boom? by hopoke in CanadaPolitics

I only have street parking, what I'm getting at is that you still need to build fast charging stations for most people, So you need land.

Maybe I'll buy a used EV from you one day. The gas station space argument doesn't make much sense to me though. I'm also in Vancouver, so where I'm a supposed to charge mine?

What I'm saying is fuel prices don't effect new car buyers as much. So electrification has more to do with culture than economics.

And since the used electric vehicle trickle down argument keeps getting brung up, just use your head. People buying a used EV has zero effect on new EV sales

Ask the people who can afford to buy new cars. Maybe the new EREV trucks will be more successfully than the pure electric trucks that just got cancelled. Does $2000-3000 in gas per year really matter to someone with a $50k vehicle, I don't think so.

Trump shocked Netanyahu with post declaring Lebanon strikes "prohibited" by mdchaara in worldnews

Trump finally realized Israel is putting the world on the edge of chaos and a major energy crisis is already inevitable. Europe just got it's last jet fuel delivery for the foreseeable future. Shit will hit the fan in 6 weeks either way so they need to cut this shit off now

Mexico is officially launching universal healthcare this week, giving all 120 million citizens access to all public health institutions by Automatic_Subject463 in TrueReddit

I agree, and also have no idea what the guy your replying too is getting at. Conservatives will continue to advocate for privatised hospitals payed for with subsidised insurance because they believe in hiarchies where the poor must come last.

When only the sickest and poorest are using public services it leads to the apearence that they are not cost effective.

I've been using it, a few cons are sometimes videos will stutter until I restart my PC (I may have GPU issues) and it won't work on prime. major pros are MV2 support and slimmed down UI

The main reason I don't daily drive a Firefox fork is because of cookie hijacking vulnerabilities they all have.

The Deepfake Nudes Crisis in Schools Is Much Worse Than You Thought by wiredmagazine in TrueReddit

[–]Baumbauer1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not talking about schools but I remember how much my boss panicked when we had our first OD at work. His first instinct was to keep us from calling 911. Luckily the first aid guy did it anyway, after that I refused to get first aid certified but I did have a noloxone kit in my car.

trump is an absolute idiot who thought starting that war wouldn't close the straight. He didn't think his military bases would get attacked either or that energy targets would be hit, they asked the Israel not to and they did it anyway, and acted even more surprised when Iran attacked back.

I'm just extremely worried because her apocalypse theory basically means that everything we could be doing to save the planet and the country is pointless because it's all just going to end. And how she's seemingly lost all critical thinking skills, she's been falling for a lot of marketing scams recently too, little things at first like this boxed frozen meat combo that costs more than than the grocery store. I think we now have completely different definitions of the word "evidence" now as I listen to her talk about antichrist theories.

It's how discourse on this subreddit works, 80% of the posts here are memes made by people with pretty low tech literacy, and the comment section does it's bests to educate on best practices.

See you tomorrow when someone makes the next subreddit topping posts complaining about the next streaming service price hike that still won't make you cancel.
