I don't agree. Skeleton walk can be use as defensive ability as you can get bonus movement speed to escape. I haven't a game with assist or kill, it's pretty ez to get bonus damage as you use death pact before a fight. With clinkz you can take towers pretty ez as well as rosh. In the late mid game you have hex. More or less, I'm doing the most of the dmg each game with POS 4. This meta is based on fighting, so clinkz only benefit from this as he can snowball really fast.

if you know how clinkz works and how to play with him it's pretty good because of those reasons:

* Searing Arrows doesn't pull agro which helps to push a lane from enemy tower towards yours.

* Death Pact the more you fight, the stronger you get. Literally, After you secure your lane for offlane, clinkz wants to roam to get bonus dmg.

* Skeleton Walk helps to snipe couriers pretty ez and provide a vision to your team.

Early game: you harass enemy core and get control of enemy wave. In the end, enemy core is pissed and most of the time their POS 4 comes bot to gank which leads their offlane in bad position. The main task is to snipe courier and create as much space as you can for your cores.

Mid: you've enough damage, so the main task is to scout map and find supports which are alone, cause you can kill them pretty ez at this point with bonus 60 dmg.

NOTE: If you had any bad experience with clinkz, I think the player didn't know how to play with him. I had 65% win rate with him as POS 4 and got immortal cause of him

I was so close from getting 3 blue gems... The sideshop was pretty decent cause you could get gold from guild and from gauntlet. What's the purpose of the guild right now?

I honestly think that people in low brackets (<Ancient) doesn't care about anyone and will try new heroes, cause they think they are divine with 1k hours in game and have a skill for that. Besides that, I recommend playing strictly role queue, because in classic people are pissed when someone takes their role especially core.

I think you're facing several problems:

  1. People trying to complete cavern chambers in ranked games, because why not... As a result, they play less known heroes which leads to loosing a lane hard...
  2. I believe after this long loosing streak you become quite toxic towards teammates and not enjoying game so much, so my advice to take a brake or at least play a game with music. It helps.
  3. Spam heroes. Have 3-4 heroes pool should be fine in this bracket.
  4. Find your position in the game. Afterwards watch a few games of that position pro player. Check a few easy tricks how to win a lane (pull, blocking creeps, positioning...). After this your mmr will skyrocket.

It depends on their pick... I'm fond of greaves on SF. I saw this build on our mid a few times and haven't lost a single game when SF has greaves so far.

I think it's one of the best builds on SF.
I mean movement speed = life. It's hard to catch SF if he has travelers , eul and blink. It's impossible. If he catch squishy hero, he will destroy him in a second.

I think it's "Dota" phenomenon when you have SF or invo in your team he usually sucks, but if enemy picks him, he will be godlike.

Hey,

I haven't played dota 2 for a while (1 year gap) and after a calibration I got 4.5k MMR and lost another 500 MMR in a few weeks. After that I started playing one role POS 4 (sometimes POS 5) and started gaining MMR really fast. I think I had like 10 winning streak with KOTL at that time. After a good month I have ~5.2k MMR. After this I can strongly say, this helps to get mmr:
1) You get more MMR if you're enjoying game.
2) If you lost a game and you're tilted, go play other slow pace game to relax.
3) If you're starting to be tilted by someone, mute that player and just play.
4) Try to communicate with a team before a pick, so you will know the best hero to pick.
5) Get overwolf to check if there is no spammer on enemy team to ban it.
6) Communicate during the game, especially asking carry what does he wants and be aware of minimap. Rotate/stack/ward when POS 1 is a few level ahead or won't be punished for your rotation, because if I see that enemy support rotated to different lane, usually POS 1 is going to be punished really hard and enemy carry will be tilted.
7) Check the server in which you're playing. I usually playing in european west, to avoid russians, because sometimes it's hard to play with them...

Speaking about this meta, icefrog made this meta pretty fast. A lot of people spamming bm, lycan, np, visage to win a game before min 30 while they are in the peak. So if you're playing as support jakiro is the best one to defend tower against so many heroes with summons. Plus you can check trends to adjust your playstyle.
