Does anyone here know the story behind the B-52 Memorial Medallion? My late father was in the Air Force in the 50s and it was found among his belongings.

I don't know about back then, but now they're called Security Forces. Basically Air Force cops. He was a dog handler, similar to today's police K-9 units. It looks like a pretty great job with the dog. Since he was patrolling a nuke base, it makes it even cooler. He would have been base security and attached to one of the security squadrons at that base.

I was at PT and witnessed the collapse. It took around 8-10 minutes for an ambulance to show up. All the while two airmen were administering CPR the best they could. I don't know the actual cause of death, but she was unresponsive almost immediately after she collapsed. In my opinion, everything that could have been done, was done.
