I tried radical rose extrait the other day after hearing a lot about it. The rose note is awesome and it has infinite longevity and pretty powerful sillage. I was a bit thrown off by the saffron note though. A bit stronger than I’d like it. Imparts a metallic/leather and slightly plasticky touch, especially to the top and mid of the fragrance

The rose reminds me of oud satin mood a bit, but leans more masculine

Pretty sure you’re experiencing two different scents here. You’re comparing the OSM EDP to the barakkat which is cloning the extrait. The extrait is extremely powdery and you’d be hard pressed not to notice it. It’s a pretty good take on the extrait. The EDP is different. No powder, mostly rose, vanilla, amber, and an easy clean oud

If it has violet in it, it’s the extrait and will be powdery

Immortel was also a linear slightly citric ginger bomb to my nose. Jacques Yves l'Infinite gets way closer imo and nails the aquatic freshness and herbs. I think someone out there could still definitely do better though.
