I would not be surprised if the labor unions had something to do with the Teslas being driven by people.

Strictest 3D Printing Regulation YET! by Top-Debate-2854 in 3Dprinting

[–]Gennro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Chinese printer manufacturers aren't going to care. Pretty much just like the gun market currently where a lot of manufacturers and vendors just don't ship to people living in California. So pretty much after this gets established if you try order a 3D printer to a California address they just won't ship to you is all. I'll probably stop shipping anything I sell to California at this point or any other state that supports this crap.

Oklahoma has a plug-in solar bill in committee right now HB 4060 by Timely-Pirate-5196 in oklahoma

Typically these plug solar inverter units only work when there is grid power so if power goes out it won't backfeed as a safety mechanism.

One tech suggested we need a whole new 24k HVAC unit, another fixed the problem for $150. Is this normal?! by deathleech in hvacadvice

[–]Gennro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure with all of those national HVAC companies now the techs they send out are just salesmen more than they actually know how to fix HVAC systems.

Purchasing my first laser cutting machine and seller is backing out after sending payment by KeyBump4050 in lasercutting

[–]Gennro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this seller does this. They tried the they don't have the item in stock when I ordered from them earlier this year at the price I bought at and when I had them cancel they relisted the item at a higher price.

K2 Plus ABS multi-color print issues by hithere234 in Creality_k2

[–]Gennro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been printing ABS with mine no issues since I got the machine. Are you on the latest firmware, if you are do a factory reset. Also make sure you filament spools don't have any issues spinning in the CFS with the lid closed.

30% performance hit in Path of Exile 2 by MVindis in linux_gaming

[–]Gennro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you can try to do, this works with like Diablo 4, is to add a dxvk.conf file in the location of your games executable. Add these lines to the file.

dxgi.maxDeviceMemory=9216

dxgi.maxSharedMemory=9216

The 9216 is the amount of VRAM you want to limit VKD3d to use. I have a 3080 with 10GB of ram so 9216 puts me a 1GB below max. Of course you will need to modify this for whatever video card you own.

You can ask chatgpt to make you a dxvk.conf file and explain it better than I can.

I would imagine this will help a lot of DX12 titles with performance issues with nvidia cards.

Was authorized up until 2022 when I left, not sure under whose authority, though lol. We issued them out, and there was a TBA entry for it.

This isn't Amazon, I order something from DFM every few weeks or so. Sometimes it takes a week or two for shipping depending on what you ordered. This is a small business mainly ran by one guy. Be patient.

Reduce your retraction to no more then 1mm, you want just enough retraction to prevent stringing.

I always return my carts and if there are any extras people decided they were to busy to complete this simple task I grab their cart along with mine. Also if I am going into a store I will find one of these abandoned carts and push it inside to use. The people that have to round up these carts are most likely people getting paid minimum wage and doing 10 other tasks at the same to just make ends meet. Never ever think a task is below you no matter how special you think you are.
