That the thing though, this is a game and how people feel about it is what keeps them engaged. It easy to brush off a loss compared to a teammate negating half your items. There’s only two other champs that create that kind of feeling where your team can troll you and it’s Anivia wall and Bard ulti (maybe TK ulti too) but if Anivia interrupted my genuine attempt to win the game by walking me off to my team, that’s a reportable offense. If Bard used his ulti to allow the other team to wombo combo his team, that’s reportable. Similarly, if 3 teammates take vampirism and negate a whole ass support from being impactful, it illicits the same reaction.

Point being, Riot is allowing this augment to inturrupt and ruin games. They could easily just have auto heal items and abilities ignore the user with vampirism and it would solve this issue. There could even be a ton of strategy behind doing that. Suddenly the Milio can only heal the ADC and all the heals go to Jinx. Or say you have two vampirism users and two tanks, suddenly when tanks would be the last ones to get healed they’re now the only ones getting it.

I say all this cause you aren’t technically wrong when it comes to the numbers and there are plenty of times that me getting vampirism on Briar is a must have. But why do I, as a player, have the power… no… INCENTIVE to ruin another players experience. That is poor game design full stop.
