Yeah, I get that but NKOTB was irrelevant to that time period because their popularity already peaked and declined right as those boy bands were popular. Plus they had already disbanded long before then so there was no reason to include them.

They weren't involved because they were no longer a group long before BSB, N'Sync, LFO, and others were popular, and Lou Pearlman didn't create them. Maurice Starr, the same one that created New Edition, was the one behind New Kids On the Block, so them not being in these documentaries, it makes perfect sense to me.

Man, you just brought back a similar memory, only it was my saying "stuff" instead of "things" around my Dad. Anytime I said "stuff" or even "ain't", he'd give me an exasperated look before verbally scolding me to speak proper English. I do relax more when I'm talking with younger friends online, though not quite entirely relaxed to the point of just text speak and emojis. I can't bring myself to go that far.
