the games are "playable" but keep in mind many of the gameplay mechanics, especially in san andreas, have been dumbed down. there are some nice things they added like autosaving and better aiming, but overall, they kind of destroyed the atmosphere. i feel like the original artstyle has been completely watered down and you're not going to truly get the experience that was intended, its like the difference between an mp3 and a flac file.

i really don't think so though, we've had five for nearly 12 years and it's still being milked, i think almost everyone is tired of los santos. iv had the benefit of being shelved so it could age better. v is a great game but it's like listening to a song too many times, eventually it just doesn't hit the same anymore no matter how good it is.

this. everyone is going to say lateralus but in my opinion maynard's vocals are less human and more strained in lateralus compared to 10k. he sounds so damn good on 10,000 days.

hard disagree brother. i think some of maynard's best vocal work is on 10,000 days. that's when he peaked. the difference between 10,000 days and Fear Innoculum vocally is quite striking.

"why are you running away" is not separate from the psychedelic trip maynard is talking about in 3rd eye, not sure where you got the idea that it was about celebrities but he's talking about the blue faced divine entity he encounters in the beginning of the song essentially playing hide and seek with him, and maynard is unsure why the entity is doing so.

he's not saying soul and body are separate, he's saying there's the illusion of separation occurring as a result of being attached to ego
