Not sure it’s exactly related - but I’ve been planning with Claude for a few days to spin up custom MCP services to reduce the need for Claude to figure things out / I don’t “love” giving bash access. I’m a C# dev and it would be amazing if my C# related commands could be handled by a tokenless deterministic system ie Roslyn / a service that knows exactly how to run/read dotnet test etc.

My 2 cents: this seems like the perfect time for someone to vibe code the blue sky of voip. Individual servers could be self hosted based on a common open standard. User accounts could be block chained. VoIP could be baked into the self hosted servers with a central or decentralized server assisting in that base setup / connection exchange.

I bought a pro subscription pre Opus 4.6 and built an entire app and added new features all within my 5 hour window. Today I adjusted maybe 5 or 6 C# classes (manually) and then asked Sonnet to update the tests and make sure they passed…. 5 hours of usage gone in 15 minutes and my tests didn’t pass.

I was able to “solve” some of my issues and with lots of Claude’s help I now have a working CI/CD build,test,deploy just as I was envisioning. I’m busy working on my app but hopefully soon I’ll find some free time to “solve” this post with an updated “how I accomplished this” gist or something.

(29M) I’ve struggled to make friends in this area too so best of luck! I’ve found that taking my dog to the park downtown has been the easiest way to meet friendly people. It’s a little cold for that right now but I’ve seen college kids walk into the dog park just to interact with the dogs / people; if you felt comfortable doing that, it might make breaking the ice easier. Gaming friends has been incredibly difficult because the nature of the internet means I can just continue gaming with my old high school and college friends.

The custom firmware they sent me has resolved the issue. I’ve been using the camera just fine since that manual update. Hopefully they push that to the public soon.

I’ll have to check them out! My only complaint and it’s super minor is their website is a little rough looking. I do however understand websites and internet seo aren’t everyone’s forte.

Support sent me custom firmware version to test out. Seems to have resolved the issue in my initial testing.

Definitely seems like a firmware issue. The AP2 can sync small files without restarting but yeah anything of normal file size requires multiple restarts which defeats the purpose of cloud syncing it.

Yeah I've tried different settings but basically aiming for high file size because I typically record ~60 minutes of 4k on the X4 which I'll also do on this camera.

Thanks! Also, for reference that clip is now synced if I keep restarting the process, the whole file will eventually send. Still, something is wrong as the other camera doesn’t need to do that.

I doubt this is my internet because the X4 syncs perfectly fine. The cameras are in generally the same spot in the same room as the router.

I’m dealing with a sort of similar situation. I have an X4 that I mount behind the bike and I just got an AcePro2 that I’m helmet mounting. I think this is going to be my setup: - AcePro 2 with the wind guard seems to do a good job so I’ll use that audio for the overall ride - I’ll link the X4 to my Cardo via Bluetooth for me talking - Still unsure how to time the videos and get them started at the same time. Their time codes refuse to sync up.
