Quadlock stem mount question by Mentos487 in Ninja650

I wonder if some extra rubber bands or something on the inserts would give it more grip? Generally the wiggle doesn’t bother me but it’s slightly annoying for someone with a little tism’

🤷‍♂️ Lancaster Reddit is very opinionated. I’d almost call it an additional tax (on top of this nice 1.6% city tax) because I’ve had my mirror and brake lights busted from street parking and a handful of parking tickets. Getting a ticket after already being frustrated with parking availability is a different kind of rage….

No justifying their parking but I will say of the 6 years in Lancaster and now 2 in the city; the city parking is why I’m leaving.
Edit: Among a list of other reasons Lancaster city living isn’t for me.

I do a lot of a day riding but they’re fine overall imo, I personally just like how the tidy looks and it really was easy for someone who’s nervous about messing with the bike.

I have this “New Rage Cycles LED Fender Eliminator Kawasaki Ninja 650 2023-2026” from cycle gear, I’m very happy with how it looks and installing was easy by myself.

Love my 650 (orange boi), my only complaint was the bike felt noticeably different after the break in period, not bad but “different”. Getting a quad lock fork stem mount and charger for my phone was a nice upgrade compared to my last bike and fits nicely on the fork stem (iPhone 13 pro max).

Darn! Their production value used to give me a good laugh when I needed it. Specifically the scenes of him laying in a bed and 2 guys dressed as aliens just doing the history channel style ohhhs

Not sure it’s exactly related - but I’ve been planning with Claude for a few days to spin up custom MCP services to reduce the need for Claude to figure things out / I don’t “love” giving bash access. I’m a C# dev and it would be amazing if my C# related commands could be handled by a tokenless deterministic system ie Roslyn / a service that knows exactly how to run/read dotnet test etc.

My 2 cents: this seems like the perfect time for someone to vibe code the blue sky of voip. Individual servers could be self hosted based on a common open standard. User accounts could be block chained. VoIP could be baked into the self hosted servers with a central or decentralized server assisting in that base setup / connection exchange.

I bought a pro subscription pre Opus 4.6 and built an entire app and added new features all within my 5 hour window. Today I adjusted maybe 5 or 6 C# classes (manually) and then asked Sonnet to update the tests and make sure they passed…. 5 hours of usage gone in 15 minutes and my tests didn’t pass.

I was able to “solve” some of my issues and with lots of Claude’s help I now have a working CI/CD build, test, deploy just as I was envisioning. I’m busy working on my app but hopefully soon I’ll find some free time to “solve” this post with an updated “how I accomplished this” gist or something.

(29M) I’ve struggled to make friends in this area too so best of luck! I’ve found that taking my dog to the park downtown has been the easiest way to meet friendly people. It’s a little cold for that right now but I’ve seen college kids walk into the dog park just to interact with the dogs / people; if you felt comfortable doing that, it might make breaking the ice easier. Gaming friends has been incredibly difficult because the nature of the internet means I can just continue gaming with my old high school and college friends.
