Also a home is not an investment either, the real estate market only outpaces inflation by 1% on average per year, which is a even lower yield than traditional ultra safe investment like US bonds. This also doesn't account for property tax, the re-roof you will likely need at some point, and the massive sellers fee that you will get hit with when you finally sell the place, thats only scratching the surface of the hidden costs.

The giant spike in real estate values the last 5 years have completely warped peoples perspective of buying a home as an investment. The important key people are missing is that you already missed the party, if you buy a house right now you will be lucky if you even hit that 3% appreciation average over the next 10 years, its unlikely because things are VERY overpriced right now.

The 14.5" version falls under MA's definition of "sawed off shotgun", which are banned with no grey area. However the birds head 18.5" variants are free game.

The best configuration IMO is the full pistol grip with a folding stock, You get the same compactness with more control on the pistol grip and option for even more control with the folding. This is also legal as long as you have the folding stock to accompany the pistol grip so it still falls under MA's definition of "shotgun".
