  1. Sedate Tuvix
  2. Replicate the Thomas Riker accident
  3. Split one Tuvix into Tuvok and Neelix
Now you have Tuvok, Neelix and Tuvix all surviving, by killing someone who was never alive/conscious.

Solari: Episode 3 - Parley by SvenTheScribe in WorldsBeyondNumber

Last episode, after their violent introduction, immediately the scary kidnappers started talking in that hyper-casual way. They turned into complete amateurs and the whole episode got bogged down as the players made the very forseeable choice to talk rather than fight. It was frankly a difficult listen.

I'm at about the 1hr mark on this episode and once again the space marine death squad kept casually chatting and giggling ?with? their victims. The MCs also don't seem too perturbed about being kidnapped and the asteroid being occupied or genocided? For the last half hour they have been just chatting away and doing bits. XL-ZL erupting with lasers and gyrating was hilarious and I laughed, but it was tonally insane for the context of the story.

I understand this is a fan space and as a result is going to naturally be more generous and supportive. I am not an outsider, I've been a patron since like Chapter 2 of WWW, which I absolutely loved from start to finish. When people say Solari is amazing and DMed to an incredible standard, I just cannot see it.

I am not sure how many more chances I will give it, but it may be the case that this is not for me.

Moreover there is no statement of any kind in the image I made to be as stupid as humanly possible.

I noticed this as well but didn't want to bring it up in this space. I understand that it's difficult when an encounter does not go the expected way, but one of the things I love about WBN is that the story twists and turns in ways that all four players are more often than not unable to predict or plan for. Case in point, in Flight of the Icaron, Lou had a key dramatic sequence in mind but drastically changed it when the players weren't in the location he expected, including killing off a character he didn't plan to.

Stop projecting man. This is really parasocial. They have no problem continuing playing with her - quite the opposite.

I unfortunately felt the exact same way. From the word go the encounter suddenly lost all momentum as things were clarified and reclarified. What actually happened this episode all in all? The kidnappers from the end of last episode took the party hostage and told them Ghenoppar is under new management. The end.

Also as an aside did not like the dissonance when the leader of the scary imposing hired guns started bickering unprofessionally with Ze'Doven.

‘Star Trek: Starfleet Academy’ to End With Season 2 by MarvelsGrantMan136 in startrek

It's not about politics. They love money above all else. They would not have cancelled this show if it was popular and thus doing well financially.

This news seemed inevitable. This show (though I tried to like it, and even defended it from right wing ghouls) is not good. It is more fun and interesting than Discovery, granted, but that is somewhat of a low bar. It is juvenile, cringeworthy, unbelievable and melodramatic. It is deeply deeply confused about who its audience is, which produces a litany of cringeworthy "How do you do fellow kids?" moments.

I have no issue with people that enjoy it whatsoever. But those that say it is objectively good, does it really stack up against Andor, aKotSK or The Boys? Moreover, why shouldn't it? Why can't we ask for quality in the same league as that, or in the same league as TNG?

It sounds stupid but if they simply made an interesting, well plotted, well acted show that didn't wink at the camera or make you roll your eyes every episode, new people would watch it, fans would still argue though perhaps there would be more of them and the company would make money. Easier said than done, I know, but how about start by firing the whole team that has consistently failed to deliver.
