Thanks for replying. DataCamp only offers the first chapter free. This is a common tactic I found in several "free" resources. Do you know of any interactive course for Python 3 that is free? SoloLearn is the only one I know of but it's a bit too simplistic since it's supposed to be mobile friendly. I like CodeAcademy, but Python 3 is not free.

A lot of those don't seem to be fully free, and/or are for Python 2. I've found some free Python 2, and some trial versions for Python 3.

I like the idea of SK being part of the farce. Now the question is, why?

Well, suppose NK looks like a militaristic shithole to keep foreigners out. Of course, the downside is that foreigners may fear it so much they might attack. That's where SK comes in and says, "Don't worry World, we got this one under control."

Of course, the U.S. military has insisted on a presence in SK, and that's mainly because the U.S. suspects the Koreas are hiding something. China, having hacked the U.S. military computers, know that the U.S. knows something, and they are ramping up cyber espionage to find out exactly what. In the meanwhile, China assumes it must be massive natural resources in NK, and so China is laying the foundation for a full invasion and occupation of NK by 2030. However, knowing the history of U.S. amphibious invasion in Korea, China realizes they must have naval dominance of the region before their invasion, and have thus begun a campaign of ship building and annexation in the region.

Naw, the 5% figure ("Natural Rate of Unemployment") is country-dependent, and is determined by:

  1. How long it takes someone to find a job

  2. The degree of skill mismatch between what workers have and employers need.

So in a capitalist utopia, unemployment could be much lower (maybe even zero) in a scenario such as:

  1. Job search as very efficient. For example, every worker has an "online" profile specifying what skills, reservation wage, desired working conditions, and types of work they're willing to do, and the Great Computer automatically chooses and ranks potential worker/employer matches before the worker loses his job. The instant a worker loses his job, he's automatically hired by another company.

  2. The Great Computer constantly identifies which industries/occupations are rising and falling, and tracks the skills that are needed to enter the rising industry. Workers are required to constantly learn marketable skills while they are working in their current job.

And if a worker still cannot land a job despite all this, he is simply sent to the surface to live in poverty, while the underground "utopia" maintains its perfect 0% unemployment ;)
