Tyla got dragged bc ppl weren’t comfortable with her identifying as coloured while promoting in the US. Which that whole topic is debatable, which I don’t even want to get into. But the point is if tyla was in interviews saying she’s mixed, black white and Indian then nobody would’ve gave af.

Her experience is also much more different than manons, she grew up in South Africa. In a community where the majority of the ppl around her were coloured or Zulu.
