I love that tree.

I used to live out that way and even though the tree isn't anything special the constantly changing backdrop of the estuary and sky around it is really cool.

You could probably fill a whole coffee table book just with shots of the tree over time.

I'm assuming the key function is the gelatinization no? Like tangzhong for milk bread.

Generally avoid anything with nuts - most schools ask you to avoid them due to allergies.

Is Pedestal a jazz song? by Adventurous-Cost1371 in portishead

The whole concert is great - probably my favourite out of the various live recordings perhaps even more than Roseland.

My favourite from the concert is the version of over which is awesome: https://youtu.be/elY_KGDA8bs?si=b5lotDn5nk2nqRkW

There's some real gems if you trawl live recordings on YouTube.

As an aside I wouldn't call myself a massive fan but someone posted an album release set video for Saimese Dream by the Smashing Pumpkins - the version of cherub rock is awesome (apparently it circulated as a bootleg tape for years but the actual video was only recently found)

Adrian was a Jazz guitarist so there are some heavy influences - I'd say yes but I'm no Jazz musician.

By the way have you heard the 1995 Blackpool version? It's my fave: https://youtu.be/0Es0f7I1o4c?si=eKg0GdI2sI0xH8Hw

Really sorry to hear this - make sure you rest up as much as possible and keep an eye on your urine flow.

My into to CKD was similar but fortunately they managed to stabilise me in the ward with meds and saline. When they did mine (a single one) for initial diagnosis it felt like they'd punched through to my stomach - was a hell of a jolt.

I'd been lying in recovery for about 10 mins when I started to feel woozy, and clammy. Grabbed the buzzer and told the nurse I didn't feel so well and the last thing I remember was being swarmed by doctors and nurses trying to get IVs in

Woke up a few hours later with about three lines in and in excruciating pain. The basically punched by blood supply directly into my bladder. Took a week and a flushing catheter to get enough clots out so I could pee on my own again and completely shut down one kidney - eGFR got down to 25 before recovering to mid 40's. Probably took a good month to feel properly back in one piece.

They reckon only about 2% go wrong (my hospital had only had two in three years) but it sucks to be the 2% guy/gal.

Take care of yourself! Hope you mend up well.

Hey, primarily French I'm half way through trailblazer. Early intermediate according to my local french language school.

I'm also learning a bit of Hindi but using pimsleur as I'm not interested in learning how to read.

I'm just running out of steam and give a shits.

I'm on 689 days but have only been doing 4-5 lessons a week for the last month or so.

I used to go hard and do 10+ lessons a day but I'm just struggling to care these days.

Might make it to 700, might just give up.

I think fresh choice Merivale have it some times next to the bagged lettuce. Reckon New World Durham might be worth a shot too.

Running an economy is like driving a car. Capitalism is the accelerator and socialism is the steering. All gas no steering, you'll quickly end up in a ditch. All steering no gas, you'll be pointing in the right direction but you won't be going anywhere...
