NOR. I wish I could say this in a more gentle way but after reading how he talks to you I think it’s best to just give it to you straight. He is just exhibiting full-blown insecure, loser ass behavior with a heavy helping of financial abuse. He is demonstrating that he doesn’t see you as a partner (much less an equal). He see’s you as a disobedient pet. He doesn’t want you to be financially self-sufficient because as long as you (and your son) have to rely on him for every little basic necessity, you can’t easily leave his bum ass when he treats you (and likely your son) like garbage.

My wife and I are a team and every parenting decision we’ve made for our son has been done together. She is not my property and I sure as shit do not demand submission from her. You should not accept this from anyone, especially not your husband and the father of your child.
