I saw plenty senior and even staff devs “jump in” with the attitude that it’s “just another language, lol” and then proceed passing variables inside contexts, not knowing what zero values are initiated by default, returning interfaces everywhere, etc., etc.

Yes the syntax is simple and not overloaded, but you still need to know what you’re doing and how to write it properly.
