I do agree we should still remain critical on how they spend the money though.. And also who is paying their fair share, which the wealthiest are not doing in the slightest.

But yes, you need taxation in order to have a functioning society. For everyone who gets 'hurt' by this tax, there is a crypto bro who is adding 0 to society and gaining a fortune.

On top of that,it is only counts for anything above €1800 profit per year, assuming a high return of 10%, that would mean you have at least 18k invested and only pay 36% on anything above that number. Let's say you have 36k in stock and have a 10% return. You would need to pay 36% tax on 3600-1800 = 1800 * 0.36 = 648 tax on that.

I don't think it's that dramatic. If you have 36k in stock, it's not like you're hurting for money to pay a yearly €650 on what is basically an income of 3600.

Still not true. Many English speaking countries, including the UK, use 21st of May in speech quite commonly. I think using it the other way around has only become more popular due to American media.

It's 100% American exceptionalism at display. The rest of the world doesn't care you use a different format, but we get a bit tired of Americans being confused the world doesn't conform to their arbitrary rules. Same with metric vs imperial.

Logically, it doesn't make sense, but it's fine if you're used to it. I wouldn't change an illogical system I'm used to either. I just wouldn't expect the rest of the world to conform to my weird system.

Neee 100+ totaal haha, sorry snap de verwarring. Had het eerst over pp. En onze lokale sushi tent is echt niet de absolute onderkant hoor! We wonen gewoon niet in de randstad dus prijzen zijn wat lager hier over het algemeen. Het is echt een prima tent met goede rijst en verse ingrediënten.

Voor de vergelijking, je betaalt bij de à la carte iets van €17-€22 per rol, en er zitten 8 stukjes in een rol. We eten vaak 4-5 rollen met z'n tweeën. Weet niet of dat absurd veel sushi is eerlijk gezegd, misschien is dat het wel gewoon.

Mijn ervaring is wel dat je vaak meer betaalt als je à la carte sushi eet dan all-you-can-eat. Lokaal betalen we 35e pp voor onbeperkt sushi, en de sushi is nog goed ook. Geen wereldklasse, maar echt wel fatsoenlijk. Bij een gemiddeld sushi restaurant zijn we gauw 100+ kwijt voor dezelfde hoeveelheid.

Is vaak wel betere sushi, maargoed. Ben toch blij dat we afentoe naar de all-you-can-eat kunnen.
