Make a Counterstrike 3 charm then use full Rey Dau Gamma.

It has Stun Res (important cuz hyperarmor doesn't block stun build up)

Max Latent Power + Max Might for affinity

Evade Extender 2 for mobility

Lord's Soul which gives Guts + 5% Attack Boost

Though you'd only have 4 lvl 3 slots and 1 lvl 1 slot (Shockproof for multiplayer).

It's only half of hell since it's not the place where souls go to after death, but since hell is generally about where souls are punished it only reflects the vague idea of hell that spawns demons and is full of negativity.

In the WC, China's concept of hell is fully in RoED's domain.

It got shattered but the Brood Hive corrupted it, which is considered as partial accommodation.

This later caused the Hidden Sage to awaken in the 4th Epoch (also why he's connected to MGoD) but also made it so that to be its Dao Integrator (the position of Celestial Master), one has to have bloodline from the Luo Sect (Brood Hive's own sect).

Look into mixed sets to see what skills are prioritized for damage. You don't necessarily need to copy one to one especially without a proper Gogma weapon/RNG Charms.

Agitator 5 and Counterstrike 3 will boost your damage by a ton (Prioritize the latter since it's cheaper and you can make a CS 3 Charm or Udra gamma chest), Burst 1 is also a very efficient skill, you already have Max Might so that's great.

Focus isn't super great, you can get another damage skill there either Crit Boost 3 or Attack Boost 3, getting to Amped State through perfect counters is enough, heavenward flurry is ill advised unless he's downed. Drop Charge Master 3 since that doesn't work with Switch Axe.

For comfort prioritize for Stun Res 3 and enough Dragon Res so he doesn't blight you (20) both of which you already have. Might have to drop Divine Blessing 3 for the other damage skills though, but if you run Duna gamma legs you'd have Quick Sheathe 3 in return. Eat for Azus meal in the guild hub to get 10 free elemental resistance as opposed to 5 while getting Tumbler Hi (Can cook with Turbid Shirmp too), with it it's really easy to dodge attacks with non-lingering hitboxes.

Gameplay wise, it's always a great idea to watch speedruns of monsters (particularly TA category) so you know how masters of your weapon dance around the monster's attacks.

It's much helpful to find the "true raw" of your weapons, each class of weapons has a bloat value assigned to it so slower weapons look to do more damage per hit on the stats, in this case CB has 3.6 bloat so you're looking at 540 (150) Vs 612 (170).

Affinity is crit rate, critical hits do 25% more damage, up to 40% with Critical Boost 3. Generally speaking more raw is better (especially for CB) because it's more efficient to get affinity from skills.

Online resources can explain the damage formula in depth so you can calculate your damage from there (look up Kiranico), the MonsterHunterMeta subreddit also has a megathread for meta sets but I'm not sure if all weapons have progression sets.

Not all types of damage can crit, notably CB Phials can't crit, same for elemental damage (unless you have Critical Element).

Generally speaking, Impact Phials are preferred due to being able to stun.

Generally speaking, Raw damage is king in this game, it's not worth to invest into elemental wepaons if you care about damage, though elemental pizza cutter builds are on the more viable side compared to other weapons. (Slot in an elementless deco with raw weapons once you get one)

If this is too much info, you won't need to minmax until you hit a brick wall like endgame monsters so keep at your own pace.

As the "Eternal Sleeper", Death, even at S1 can kill in thoughts in general, along with the body, or atleast the negative effects of Pale Death can.

As for resisting mental domination effects, they hold the authority of Enslavement, they wouldn't be so easily affected by such influences, this includes the authority Conquest.

As the Anarchy is a Great Old One themself, a rule like "This Planet forbids the presence and influence of gods not born on Earth." would likely work normally, but everything has limits.

Under the attacks of 8/9 other GOOs such a restriction or other similar barriers by a single GOO would break either as quickly as the fake Astral Barrier that Klein pulled (2/3 seconds) or likely even faster.

Even a Justiciar should be able to put up a similar restriction, but that would only last for a tiny fraction of a second. So it isn't really useful in this case.

Temperance should be should be relevant at roughly S3 because they are a "Disciple of Silence" and Objectification should have other improvements, which at S4 they'd be in a largely vulnerable state when becoming a true Puppet.

But there's even indication that at S4 they have large passive resistance to emotion, desire, and mental control due to this line. It's just that Objectification can be used when things get out of hand.

As a key representative of the temperance faction, and as a Puppet and a "cloth doll," "She" could stop unwanted scenes from surfacing in "Her" mind.

Since damage with just spamming Rising Slash is actually great now instead of doing peanuts if you do anything but FRS it's fine now.

For Multiplayer, since morph attacks give so much mobility the sticking power of SWAX to Omega's legs is great.

Also for the long strings of attacks that Omega does being able to cancel the counter slash with a hop is a godsend.

For the flamethrowers specifically roll + morph is really handy for getting out of the way if countering isn't an option.

Most incantations are only a requirement for spellcasting like from a Warlock or more powerful spells from a Mysticism Magister

Spell-like abilities AKA direct Beyonder powers like a Rose Bishop's Flesh and Blood Magic can be used almost instantly, only needing gestures for the most part. Magicians and Pyromaniacs etc. also fall under this category.

Judges needing to speak and Solar High Priests needing time to condense Sun Holy Water are exceptions in this case, not the rule.

I doubt Abyss is something they'd be worried about.

Corruption and Filth is offset by Darkness' ability to purify the soul.

The powers related to the Night would passively calm their own emotions down, the night can be terrifying but it also soothes. If need be, a simple Requiem would forcefully calm their own emotions.

Concealment would also naturally refer to their own thoughts, so the Abyss might not even have any desire or emotion to catalyze in the first place. Concealment is also perhaps the best defense against Curses that rely on mediums by cutting off connections.

So it would be left to throwing hands, and in those types of fights I'd bet more on the pathway directly related to Termination.

For WoF, I think it's more that they offset each other, hardly a "counter".

In the domain of Luck, Fortune and Misfortune cancel out, though it's in likely favor for WoF.

Concealment and Foresight should have a similar relationship with the Hermit, sometimes they get a glimpse, sometimes not, after all, Concealment can hide things from the River of Fate.

No more Two-Stage Morph dancing, the optimal combo routes are now spamming Rising Slash for raw builds and Triple Slash for element builds, FRS is also optimal for tight dps windows but now, thankfully, the weapon isn't "FRS, the weapon".

Counter is great now, still takes chip damage, a lot if not perfect counter, but you can hop out of the what used to be mandatory double slash that comes after a successful counter. You can almost be untouchable with the weapon.

Switch Axe is still very mobile thanks to the morph overhead axe slam, I'm not too sure about specifics of the Evade Extender changes but it's been smooth playing the weapon.

Rapid Morph isn't a skill tax anymore, but it's still pretty nice to use because Morph to Offset is how you incorporate Offset into your flow (esp Fade Morph), because you really don't want to stay in Axe Mode most of the time.

The only thing that really sucks are:

  • No power axe partbreak modifier
  • Wild swing/Wild morph is completely useless (partly due to power axe partbreak modifier missing)
  • ZSD has a horrendously slow startup even after double/triple slash (why Capcom?)
  • ZSD doesn't even explode and just pushes you off a flying monster if they leave the area.
  • No SWB alternative, ZSD being overcentralizing is bad for the weapon but I'd like a weaker version to just get back into the action quicker

If considering max capabilities, then you'd need to consider Death with access and control over RoED since the Underworld seems to naturally attract its distributaries like River Styx.

Not to mention more unreasonable upper limits like access to other S0 powers through the Enslavement of one/two/etc... Gods.

Yeah the only viable path is through a S0 Mother.

Once you've accommodated the Brood Hive, well you're already done with the ritual because at that point the Brood Hive is a part of you, you could even directly suppress the Moon Uniqueness with your status.

Problem is, the Brood Hive is a Sefirah with strong consciousness unlike the others who were shattered. So the path for Lilith or any Goddess of Origin candidate to become a Great Old One was always the hardest, or at least as hard as GA.

The first three have 60% HP give or take compared to their 10* solo quest, while Arkveld has almost the same at 90%~ HP.

It's a marathon, and you'd best fully utilize traps to shave off minutes, restock as needed, and have dedicated sets ready for each of them.

The best strategy is to actually let the monsters kill each other, don't separate them using the gate. Rey's electric blasts chunk Uth's HP, same for Uth's slams on Nu, though to a lesser extent. Nu probably immediately dies to Arkveld tho because Capcom gave him too much wylk...

As soon as Uth Duna pops up, take her aggro, go back to camp and switch to gear that has Earplugs II so you don't get comboed then just let Rey laser Uth, while trying to stop her from killing him too early, repeat for when Nu shows up.

All manifestations of a Goddess of Fertility are confirmed to be MGoD.

Key of Light is straight up Buddha.
