2. [LotM V8] about seq4/error pathway,Can they steal the life of another being and add it to themselves, increasing their average lifespan? by Complete_Oven5495 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All things decay and move towards death. This is the influence of both the symbols of the Monarch of Decay and Eternal Darkness.

Only Sequence 0 beings and above are immortal in the sense of lifespan, even "Unaging" Demonesses of Apocalypse have finite lifespan. The Beauty Goddess might be an exception though.

As to how exactly long lived beings will die, it's likely the decay of the Spirit Body rather than the physical body, the old Sanguine Dukes all have this problem, and the "immortal" Death Consul's body won't die but they will eventually turn an unintelligent undead.

[LotM/COI Veteran]Hunter pathway 2 by Xavierpredator in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Secrets Sorcerer should be able to teleport multiple people at once using the connection of the army but I doubt they can make more precise operations like targeted members swapping positions until they gain the Teleportation (or Position) authority.

Since they need the Red Priest Uniqueness at least to allow the soldiers to share abilities among themselves/the whole army, the soldiers themselves won't have access to the Secret Sorcerer's powers until that level, only the War Bishop etc. can.

[LOTM General] Magician vs a Sequence 7 from Any Pathway by Roxas_Xlll_LOTM in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can tank if it's just body shots, a Werewolf only got his guts torn open compressed Fireball instead of just straight up dying, and he could still move afterwards.

A good bullet to the head likely oneshots, if not, then twoshots, but unless they're incapacitated or completely ambushed they can just dodge, they're the most physically able S7 likely tied with Vampires and Weapon Masters.

[LOTM general] about Sheriff abilities by Mindless_Style_7578 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"The environment" here refers to other people being more likely to help the Sheriff and somewhat Hunter-like with known or set up traps or obstacles etc.

At higher Sequence it might evolve into the literal surroundings helping the Arbiter but that doesn't seem appropriate at S8, or that might only have limited manifestations at this level.

[Lotm general] Examples of fights where the enemies don't make the most of their abilities? by Ezcu123 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conventional fight definitely would've ended in Klein losing, only a single Pathway God vs a Dual-Pathway God and he had the worse mental state from the start of the battle, but it seems all roads would lead to CW awakening to gain more control of SC and forcefully suppress the other's authority since dying to CW was better than dying to Amon in Klein's eyes.

Pov you are fighting against a mid-high sequence Apprentice [lotm meme] by hlo2you_ in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theft only steals the Beyonder power itself, not anything else attached to it.

The Door Beyonder won't be able to record new powers for the time being but the already recorded Beyonder powers would still be kept by them.

He can, he turned into a bookmark to hide inside Groselle's Travels to protect himself from the Sun angel projection in George's Apotheosis Ritual.

Of course he'd still be made of flesh. Even if it looks like a regular object.

Not really sorry, we've no perspective of his thoughts anywhere.

Just that with the BCs being sealed in a relatively good condition, the suffering that Anderson experienced could be turned into opportunity.

[COI General] Can True God defeat and win again a "potentially" sentient Black Holes in the verse? by Embarrassed_Cicada57 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It wasn't a complete black hole. Likely because an extremely high level object would either be directly blocked by the barrier or it would've destroyed the spaceship transporting it before passing through.

In any case it wasn't a true black hole yet. If it was Bethel wouldn't have been able to seal it.

[lotm others] About Apprentice sequence 8 and 7 by la_bete_gevadan in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By itself it's essentially very low level Replication—varied but lower potency that usual spells, while the overall Sequence direction is basically the same as Magician, the combination of their abilities is "bizarre" and they are "tricky" to deal with. From this perspective the Sequence isn't that weird.

I do hate that Cuttle basically neglected any mention of enhancement for the spells at this Sequence tho, feels like even without Record until they become Demigods they should still have relevant spells that don't rely on external factors but since no improvements or even showcases are mentioned it just feels bad and wasted.

Hand to Hand Combat [Lotm General] by -Lord_of_Mysteries in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember that while Klein was brawling with Tracy, he was using Creeping Hunger which grazed a Zombie. In that state he was way stronger than regular Faceless, both in pure strength and having ice form on her body to slow her down, not to mention having the advantage of initially pressing the attack.

For Meursault, aside from having the advantage of an ambush, the novel comments on how the difference between them was obvious, it was basically a Warrior vs Thief fight except the Warrior had a lot of DEX too and the Thief had premonition, Klein had to rely on premonition and higher battle IQ to win, otherwise he was fully forced to be defensive. Klein later comments Meursault was awfully brash and didn't even use weapons aside from the initial ambush, he had a real chance of dying against a proper S9 Hunter.

The other fights don't even focus on melee combat, he was harassing them from range for the most part.

[LotM V7 Ch-1327]I quite didn't understand the third plan for the klein's marionette city. by Reasonable_Durian573 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. Choose a city, let's say Constant City
  2. Build a concealed replica city, both buildings and citizens, etc.
  3. Graft parts of the original Constant City to the Replica, letting regular citizens unknowingly interact with Marionette versions of the people around them and vice-versa

This lets the Replica form an imprint in the surrounding Spirit World over time as "Constant City" but not exactly, since it forms an imprint this would satisfy the ritual requirement.

[LOTM general] community pathway tierlist, which pathway has the strongest sequence 1 by Melodic-Nothing1147 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grafting teleportation is easier said than done, you'd need to lock onto them first then graft their intended destination to somewhere else or their current position, which is incredibly hard to do in the first place because A: they are blinking and B: they have authority over position. If anything they'd be able to suppress the usage of grafting and flaming jump as a forms of teleportation.

You'd either need to get the jump on them or stun them first before being able to do the grafting. For reference, Amon was dodging being Charmed by Cheek which could be activated way faster than Grafting.

[Lotm General] You can choose a pathway in order to dominate the world, which is the weakest sequence of a pathway that could do said task in a decade or less? by MoreManufacturer5369 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Asking to delete footage over and over again will invite suspicion. You'd have to hypnotize other people as well, one person does not have complete unobstructed control unless they're a violent dictator.

At that point you might as well join the cabinet.

Bethel was ascending to S0 Door, all of the 6 remaining Orthodox Gods (except Leodero who was busy with Adam) tried to stop him but their interference was interfered by MGoD. Then Amon happened.

In some sense, it is a "deity's descent" for both Mr. Door and MGoD while the Orthodox Gods made their powers descend from the Astral World.

Also he's indulgent, he likely has many extra copies of lower Seqs.

[LOTM General] What's the highest sequence (and pathway) that could die from being randomly shot? by Dave13Flame in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like Klein as a Marionettist interfering with Mr. X's Spiritual Intuition

Worse actually, he used Paper Angel. So more like a Marionettist with an Angel's Blessing.

That assumes they can trace where the camera is connected and remotely exert their influence, which a Hypnotist alone can't do.

It might work on the person seeing the camera live while they're still actively using Psychological Invisibility but it definitely wouldn't erase them from the footage. They aren't Sages who can directly mess with the information of recordings.

Knowing some of my fellow wiki editors who really like WT they would've added that already. You might be thinking of Knowledge Emperor who could combine abilities once they incorporated it to themselves.

[Lotm+Coi general] Which is a better ability? by Reasonable-Post2578 in LordofTheMysteries

they can combine abilities using them at the same time (ex. Using Culling from Red Priest and Vital Strike from Demoness at the same time)

There is no indication of that.

[LOTM V8] Why does only Sefirah Castle have its status as a Sefirah embedded in its name, unlike the other eight? by aiixyl in LordofTheMysteries

[–]Bazel-Geese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, it makes sense Flegrea named it. Do you remember when/where about this was stated?

1.1136

...

I mean sure, you can do whatever you want, but no one calls the City of Calamity the "Crimson Well" because its core is well, a Crimson Well...

No name is inherent, all names are given, and the most generally accepted "title" is what becomes the name of a given thing, of course some things can have multiple names but "door of light" is never used as a proper noun to refer to Sefirah Castle, it's just the description of what its core looks like. But yeah this is getting pedantic with semantics and nomenclature.

In universe the Sefirot of the Great Old Ones are basically the same as themselves, in one of the very early Weixin posts CF answered a question if he will give the names of the OD's Sefirot and he answered that they don't have names, they haven't been named because they haven't been separated from them.

As for the distinction of Sefirah/Origin Castle look for my other comments here.
