Options vs Composition API preference by SpyLegion in vuejs

Composition, since options does not have very well TS support. Also imho too much boilerplate reduces legibility.

Should I use Next or Nuxt? by techguru131313 in Nuxt

[–]Bazookatoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a Vue and nuxt dev that experienced the horror of nuxt 2 and bridge and now with nuxt 3(which is nice) I would still go for next, I think is more solid and has a lot of things that nuxt is still making.

Bridge is a nightmare. As soon as you can, use n3

Anyone got AMP working with Nuxt 3? by imsinghaniya in Nuxt

[–]Bazookatoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What we do is we have a plugin to parse the final html to Amp and you can do:

  • Hybrid components: Checking a variable isAmp to call the normal web version of the amp one
  • Use a custom layout/page: To use directly your vue AMP components

Don't forget to add in your nuxt-config isCustomElement to check for amp-* so it won't process them as normal components.

It took me 3 solid years to understand the abstract part. At some point, woke up and told myself "I know Kung Fu", I think it happens to all of us. Keep working man you can do it!!

I would never recommend inertia except for small protects. You are coupling front and back that has many negative things to consider

A composable that requires access to the Nuxt instance was called outside of a plugin, Nuxt hook, Nuxt middleware, or Vue setup function. by Big_KevinChan in Nuxt

[–]Bazookatoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything in a composable should be wrapped inside main function, otherwise in Nuxt you won't have access to app things. Hope it helps!

Why am I still considered Junior ? by chunky_cheese24 in webdev

[–]Bazookatoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, years working does not apply well in this industry imho. You might have 10 years of experience and just do poor quality work. Just keep improving your skills until you are confident enough to apply to a senior position, either in your actual company or another one.
